Note of discretion: This is strictly for fun and most of the writing will be rather identical to the original (At least in the beginning-) My goal is to make this version of The Rising of The Shield Hero more “realistic” and make the characters as well as the world feel more 3 dimensional. (This might not be conveyed correctly though-) I’m also changing most of The Shield Hero series's “Lolicon” content. This version contains bad grammar/typos, swearing, violence, LGBTQ+, mentions of slavery, mentions of alcohol, Naofumi X AGE GAP APPROPRIATE Raphtalia, Ren X Itsuki, toxic Kyo X toxic Kazuki, and Glass X Ivory (The Mirror Vessel Hero) If any of this is not to your taste then- why are you here?
Important things changed in this version of The Shield Hero: Many of the girls in this version (especially the children-) will no longer have crushes on Naofumi. Fitoria, her people, and Filo are demi-human filolials. Demi-human aging will be the same as humans meaning when Raphtalia, Fitoria, and Keel meet Naofumi in this version I’ll be making them adults permanently. Naofumi will quickly look for a solution to get rid of Raphtallia’s slave crest and once it gets broken she doesn’t get it reapplied. Motoyasu will not be pining over Filo, because she’s a child. Kizuna’s vassal weapon will be changed into a fishing rod, and lastly, I am completely erasing Raphtalia being in line for the throne of a different kingdom. (This is all the important stuff I’ll change off the top of my head- There could be more- Either way, I swear the story will still be great regardless of the changes-)
