Yanira was in the kitchen, cooking some; oxtails, greens, yams, and Macaroni and cheese. She had took over for her mother since she had to work late at the salon and her father was working double shift.
She was cooking, and her phone had dinged, she put the lid on the pot before grabbing her phone and answered it.
Then she put her phone down, and slid on her slides before heading too the door. She unlocked the door, and there stood Jamar.
" come on in please take your shoes off," she said opening the door some more, and he walked in taking his shoes off and placing them down beside her shoes she wore too school normally.
She closed the door and locked it, then she leaded him inside the kitchen. "VICTORIA COME FIX YOUR PLATE!" She yelled upstairs. After a couple of minutes she came downstairs with her headphones on and she went too the kitchen and fixed her plate and grabbed a water, then headed back upstairs too her room.
" you want an plate," she asked him and he nodded his head, and then she grabbed two paper plates and filled his up with some food and then gilled hers up with a little amount then grabbed two Dr.pepper's out of the freezer, and placed a plate and soda in front of him and then she sat downside him.
They ate in an comfortable silence, then she grabbed there empty plates and placed them inside the sink for her too come back to later.
She guided Jamar too the living room and then she went upstairs too her room, and she grabbed her hair products. Then she headed back down too the living room.
Before sitting down she headed too her snake enclosure and checked up on her snake, since the snake was shedding.
" do you want another snake one day," Jamar had asked from behind her and she said still while looking at the snake, " yeah but right now I have other things I need too get before I get another one."
" alright let's get started on your hair," she said sitting on the couch and then gestured for him to sit in between her legs.
He sat down, and she started the process of detangling his hair which surprising didn't take too long. She then started too part his hair.
They watched princess and the frog while she was doing his hair, he was just getting some straight back cornrows.
Once she was done, she sprayed some foam on top of it and then applied it, and then he handed her a black durag, then put it on for him.
