The sun hung high over the Hidden Leaf Village, casting warm rays across the rooftops and the bustling streets. Excitement crackled in the air as young children gathered in small groups, excitedly discussing their first day at the Ninja Academy.
Among them stood Naomi and Satsuki along with Mikoto who decided to come and see her kids first day at the academy.
Naomi were a simple black top with a fishnet shirt underneath and for bottoms she decided to wear a black skirt and some Fishnet shorts underneath in case some perverts tries to sneak a look underneath and she also wore some blue open toe shinobi shoes
Satsuki wore a purple kimono-style shirt, black skirt with with kunai designs, purple shorts and brown shinobi sandals.
Hey, look! It's the Lava Girl!" a voice called out from the crowd. It was Shikamaru, his brow furrowed in his usual lazy contemplative state. Beside him, Ino rolled her eyes, trying to stifle a giggle.
Naomi felt a familiar heat rising, something inside her stirring as she sent a subtle glance at Shikamaru.
I'm no Lava Girl! I'm just... me!" Naomi protested, though there was a hint of a smile playing on her lips.
Satsuki looked on amused as she saw the blush Naomi had on her face when she had watched Shikamaru as Satsuki decided to tense her sister during dinner later.
Whatever you say, Naomi. Just try not to burn the academy down on your first day," Shikamaru replied, his tone bored but his eyes betrayed a hint of mischief.
Yeah! You gotta save that for lunchtime!" Ino added, throwing her hands dramatically in the air, pretending to be engulfed by flames.
A blush crept onto Naomi's cheeks. Her lava techniques were powerful, but she had learned the hard way that they could be unpredictable.
Memories of her very first training session flooded her mind—flames shooting out of control, Obito's panicked face, the charred remains of a tree. Naomi shook her head, trying to banish the thoughts. Today was not the day for that!
Alright! Let's go!" Satsuki declared as she dragged Naomi into the academy while Mikoto was waving them goodbye.
