As the day when on before I know it school was over Kyle had to stay late for football practice I waved by and start to walk to the flower shop

I took in everything the cold winter air as I walked down the road cars passed some fast others slow I felt my phone buzz in my pocket as I took it out

I smiled at my moms text and sent a ok

Soon enough I Reach the flower shop White letters Glowed above the door saying ' Ethan's flower shop' On the door it had an open sign and you can see flowers in the windows I pushed it open walking in the smell of daisies and daffodils filled my nose

It seemed pretty empty but it always felt full to me as a kid running around flower that were taller then me I smiled at the purple ones I never knew the name to

"Sammy!  Gosh you've gotten bigger! " I heard a laugh But I knew that voice I turned to Mr Ethan He has run this flower shop since before I could walk

"Hey sir! How the wife? " I smiled as I put down my very heavy school bag Standing next to the cash register as Mr Ethan walks behind it grabbing some flower seeds

"Shes good little sick but we are pulling through it! " Mr Ethan smile has always warmed my heart Ever since I was young And even before I knew I liked boys. . He always felt like a dad.. Better then mine..

"So where's Vanessa? " Mr Ethan has been friends with my mom since I could remember I smiled as he said her name

"Shes coming to get me I was supposed to pick up flowers actually? "

"Oh ok? .. Uhm.. Is it under your moms name? "

"Probably? She never told me? " I laughed out a awkward laugh glancing around as the door bell rang

Mr Ethan welcomed the customers I always found it funny how random people Could just one day be someone's friend I start at the people as they walked in a girl and a guy Maybe it was her dad She looked pretty young...

"Oh gosh where is Rosie and Luca huh?" Mr Ethan laughed as he looked over the paperwork trying to find the flowers I was supposed to grab for my mom Rosie and Luca were his kids I knew them since they were young but we never really hanged out that much..

"I'm sorry Sam let me look on the computers in the back? " I nod as he walks away slowly I began to space out.. Thinking I did this alot or so I've been told..

My wrists where in pain as I rubbed them against the counter

"You ok? " I heard someone say behind me I rolled my eyes as I mumbled a yes

"You sure Sam? ".. How do they know my name? I slowly turned around

" Luca! I-uh- h-hi.. " I fumbled over my words as I smiled at him Luca was always changing his hair and style but he stopped a week ago

His blonde almost white curls layered over his sky blue eyes and Rosey cheeks his heart shaped fave made me smile more

"Have you seen my dad? " he asked his voice soft and warm

I nod and point to the back door with a nods he walks back there.. Ok so maybe I have a crush.. Nothing big tho-... Shut up.

Soon enough Mr Ethan walked back with a big bouquet of bright pink and yellow flowers I never knew what they were but Then again I didn't care
