Hannah rummaged through her closet, trying to find something decent to wear. Her room was still a mess, scattered with gifts and decorations from her birthday the night before. After celebrating at the restaurant, everyone had come back to her place, leaving behind a trail of party remnants.

Normally, she was neat and organized, but ever since she started living alone, her room seemed to spiral into chaos more often. It was the one space in her apartment that mirrored the clutter in her mind, a constant reminder of how overwhelmed she felt lately.

She was getting ready to head to Jenna's set, but finding presentable clothes was proving to be a challenge. Everything either didn't match, needed to be washed, or just wasn't right for a day on set. Frustration bubbled up as she tossed another sweater aside, her wardrobe feeling emptier by the minute.

She bent down and gathered the clothes she had let fall onto the floor, tossing them onto her bed in a haphazard pile. With a sigh, she stared at the mess, feeling a mix of frustration and exhaustion. As much as she tried to stay on top of things, it seemed like her life—and her room—kept slipping into disarray.

She heard a knock at the door and paused, confused. She knew she wasn't expecting a ride—she had specifically told Elena she didn't need one. Stepping out of her room, she walked toward the door without hesitation, glancing through the peephole.

Elena's eyes were already staring back, causing Hannah to gasp slightly.

"Come on, Hannah," Elena's voice came from the other side, clearly amused.

Hannah opened the door, shaking her head. "I thought I told you I didn't need a ride. I can drive myself."

Elena fiddled with the doorknob, her fingers tapping it lightly. "There's no point in taking two separate cars. I literally have to pass your house on the way back."

Hannah rolled her eyes, knowing Elena was right. With a sigh, she opened the door fully, revealing her best friend standing there, smirking triumphantly. Elena always had a way of winning these little debates.

"Fine," Hannah said, her tone playful. "You win."

"I always do," Elena replied with a grin.

Elena walked past Hannah without hesitation, heading straight for her room. Hannah's eyes widened in panic as she suddenly remembered the disaster waiting inside. While her friends never seemed to care about the mess, she did—she hated letting anyone see that side of her.

"Elena, wait—" Hannah called, hurrying after her.

But it was too late. Elena was already standing in the doorway, her eyebrow raised as she took in the mess. "Wow," she said, half-amused. "Did we actually leave it like this?"

Hannah groaned, rubbing her forehead. "No, it got worse after you guys left. I was just stressed with my agency."

"With a lethal face card like that, I don't blame them for stressing you out," Elena giggled, flashing a teasing grin.

Hannah playfully rolled her eyes. "Please, I could do without the constant pressure."

Elena chuckled, nudging her. "Well, lucky for you, I'm here to make sure you don't lose your mind today. Now, grab something decent and let's go!"

Hannah went silent for a moment before admitting, "I... I need to shower."

Elena's face remained calm, though the subtle shift in her expression made it clear she was a bit annoyed. Still, she forced a smile. "It's okay, take your time," she said, her tone patient but with an edge of reluctance.
