After the encounter between Avneet, Jaijeet, and Siddharth, some time passed.

Avneet stepped out of her class, lost in her thoughts. Without looking around, she walked ahead and suddenly bumped into someone.

Siddhart

"Oops, sorry!" Avneet said, looking into his eyes.

Siddharth smiled slightly, replying, "Koi baat nahi! Hota hai. Looks like you were lost in your thoughts."

Avneet was surprised but decided not to say anything. She thought of moving away, but just then, she felt a twist in her ankle and stumbled. Before she could fall, Siddharth quickly reached out and held her hand to steady her.

"Are you okay?" Siddharth asked, concerned.

Avneet looked at him, surprised by how worried he was. "Um, yeah, I'm fine. Was just about to fall."

Siddharth chuckled lightly. "Seems like the ground wanted to play tricks on you. Be careful next time."

Avneet gave a small smile. "Thanks to you for saving me from falling," she said, bowing her head and moving away.

As Avneet walked away, she thought, Is it me, or is something wrong with me? How was I talking to him so freely? Something's off. And did I just say sorry to him? Did he seriously touch my hand...?

Meanwhile, Siddharth stood there for a while. "Wow, she's different," he muttered to himself with a big smile on his face.

LATER IN THE CANTEEN

Avneet entered the canteen, looking for Jaijeet in the crowd of students. She found him sitting at a table with a girl. She called him out as she walked toward them.

"Jai!" she called out, moving toward them.

"Avni! Tum aa gayi!" Jaijeet exclaimed, waving toward her. "Meet her, she's Reem. I just met her in class. She's really cool. We're in the same class," he introduced, excitedly.

Avneet forced a smile. "Nice to meet you."

Reem replied and then asked Jai, "I want you to meet my friends. Will you and your sister come with me?"

"Kaun se dost?" Jai asked.

Reem replied, "I have a group of friends. Wait, I'll call them."

AT THE TABLE WITH SIDDHARTH AND HIS FRIENDS

Reem went toward them and said, "Guys, guys, guys, come with me! I want you guys to meet my new friend, please!"

Siddharth replied, "Calm down, little one. Chalo."

Reem beamed and looked back at Jaijeet and Avneet. "Aajao, jaldi!"

Jaijeet looked at Avneet and said, "Avni, come on, let's go. Tumhe bhi milna chahiye unse!"

Avneet wasn't too sure, but seeing Jaijeet's excitement, she decided to go along. "Fine, fine, I'm coming," she said, rolling her eyes, but a small smile tugged at her lips.

The group moved to the other side of the canteen, where Siddharth and his friends were sitting. As they approached, Siddharth stood up and gave a friendly wave.

"Hey, Reem! Tumhare saath koi naya friend hai?" Siddharth asked, smiling as he looked at Avneet.

Reem quickly introduced, "Haan, yeh meri nayi dost hai, Avneet. Aur yeh hai mere dusre dost, Jaijeet."

Siddharth's gaze lingered on Avneet for a moment before he gave her a polite smile. "Nice to meet you, Avneet," he said, his voice warm.

Avneet nodded, a little uncomfortable with the attention. "Nice to meet you too."
