Sasaki awakens from his terrible nightmare, drenched in sweat. He looks around cautiously. Everything seems normal. His wife is sound asleep and so are the kids. The sound of crickets and the cold wind that enters the window helps Sasaki calm down. His heartbeat slows down and his breathing slowly returns to normal. Sasaki rises up and he exits the house to clear his mind.
Sasaki scratches his head as he sits on the bench outside their house and gazes upon the beautiful full moon as the cold wind brushes upon his skin. "Dammit, my head hurts... What was that all about?" He complains. " I can't sleep..." He says. A while later the sun rises and sunlight shines through the leaves of the trees.
Sasaki hears footsteps inside the house, "They must be awake." He thinks to himself.
Miyagi, confused as to why her husband is nowhere to be found, looks outside, and finds her husband sitting on the wooden bench. "Honey! there you are. You're up early!" Miyagi happily greets her husband. "Oh, Miyagi... G-Good morning... I barely slept last night... I had a terrible nightmare..." Sasaki looks down clearly expressing his fatigue and lack of sleep. "Awe, Honey, I'll go make breakfast, okay? Then you can sleep after." Miyagi assures her husband by patting him on the back and kissing him. Miyagi goes back inside the house whilst Sasaki follows.
Sasaki is greeted by her daughter, Karin. "Father! Father! Good morning!" Karin excitingly hugs her father's legs. "Haha! Good morning Karin! You're as lively as ever!" Sasaki smiles and laughs.
Shota enters the living room, "Good morning, Father and Mother." Rubbing his eyes as he yawns. "Good morning Shota!" Sasaki happily greets his son, as his nightmare from last night slowly fades away. While helping his wife prepare breakfast, Sasaki notices something odd. Out of the window, from afar, he sees three horsemen cloaked in armor looking like they were armed.
Miyagi, I'll be right back. Take the kids somewhere safe." Sasaki commands his wife and his children, fearing for their safety.
"Father, is something wrong?" Karin worries about her father.
Sasaki: "Nothing's wrong darling, we're just playing hide and seek. Go hide, go! go!"
Karin: " Okay!"
Sasaki: "Miyagi, please..."
Miyagi: "R-Right!"
Shota: "Father, I'll come with you."
Sasaki: "No son, you must stay her, you have to protect your sister and your mother."
Shota: "A-Alright..."
Sasaki grabs a rusty hatchet and he steps outside ready to defend his family.
