After walking Ms. Jackson to her car, I waited for her to get in till I walked to my truck. When I was putting Ray in the car, I heard her car not cranking. I jumped in the truck and went to help her after I buckled Ray.
I got to her car, jumped out, and tried not to look like I was in a rush or anything. I knocked on her car window, and she rolled her window down.
"Hey, beautiful, can I help you?" I asked
"No, Nas, I am good. My dad is on the way. Thank you for stopping." Ziya said. This girl just called me Nas, and I loved the sound of her saying it.
"Of course, I wasn't leaving without making sure you were straight. How long till your dad gets here?"I asked
"He should be here in about 30 or so minutes. You don't have to stay. I am a big girl that can handle my own." she says.
I laughed and said, " Girl, I know I can go, but I will stay. The real question is, can you come sit in my truck with us, or am I going to stand here?"
"I'll sit in your car, but don't kidnap me." She says while getting out of her car.
I open my truck door and say, "Don't tempt me with a good time. Running away with a beautiful woman and having her to myself." I mentally groaned because that sounded worse than I meant it. I closed the door behind her as she got in, and then I walked in and got in on my side. When I got in the car, I heard snoring, and I was slightly shocked. I turned to him and said, "damn Lil man is tired. " Ms. Jackson laughed, then sighed and said, "Sorry, I forgot to tell you that he only got a 45-minute nap. " I laughed and said, "Sounds like a natural consequence, but it's not your fault, beautiful. "She looked away and said, "Uhm, I guess." Ziya POV
The more he talked, the more I wondered if he was a flirt or if he was flirting with me. Who am I to think this handsome ass man would want me? I debated if I should answer his question honestly, especially with him being so gentle with me. I took a deep breath and said, "I forgot to ensure he was asleep before I left for my lunch, and he had a hard time." Nas looked at me, but I couldn't read him, so I explained more. He looked at me, shocked, and said, "A GIRL... A WOMAN FINE AS YOU IS SINGLE!!"
I laughed and said, "Yeah, but looks aren't everything. Also, I am not that good-looking. I might be average, lol."
He gently grabbed my face by my chin, came in close, and said, "First, don't ever say you are average when you are a natural beauty in sweatpants. Most women in a full face of makeup can't compare to you. Shit, I was shunned by your beauty the first time I saw you. Second, it is clear as day that you are more than a pretty face. Your vibe is cool and so genuine. You also have a very welcoming spirit that anyone will be lucky to have. "
I was shocked by his comment and left speechless.
He was just staring at me, and I was staring back. My phone ringing broke the silence, and I stopped to answer my dad's call.
Z- Hey Daddy! You almost here?
ZD- Hey, babygirl. Change of plans: I got called into emergency surgery and have to go to the hospitial.
Z- AWw Damn. I understand.
ZD- I can order you an Uber to get home if you want.
Z- I can order or own Uber Daddy, but thanks.
ZD- OK if you insist. I will have AAA tow it to the house, and I will look at it in the morning. You might be out of a car for a day if that is cool.
Z- I am cool because I am off tomorrow. Thank you again for all you do.

"You are not taking an Uber, Ziya!" Nas says sternly
He scared me, so I jumped a little. He touched my upper thigh and said, " I am sorry. I didn't mean to scare you, but you will not be taking an Uber when I can easily take you home. "
I played it off and was like and said, "Here you go trying to kidnap me.'
He looked at me and said, "Is that the worst thing because you and I both know you want me to." He licks his lips, which causes my lower to grow warm. "For real, can you let me take you home and maybe a date?" He said then wink.
I said, "Yes, you can take me home, but I don't think you can take me on a date," tilting my head towards Ray.
"Okay, great. Well, we just have to schedule our date, which means I need your number.", he says.
I open my phone go to contacts hand it to him and say "Here"
He puts it in and hands it back. I laugh at the picture he took as his picture. I texted him hey its Z. Then said now you have my number.
He says "Great. Now I can plan an amazing date for us so I can show you all the appreciation you deserve without any interruptions. "Nodding towards Ray.
I laughed and said " That's clearly your baby. Can I ask a question but I'm not trying to pry just curious. "
He laughed and said "yea that's my lil man and ofc anything "
I said "why does Ray always get picked up by different people?"
He looked shocked " WHAT YOU MEAN? HOW MANY DIFFERENT PEOPLE PICK HIM UP?"
I turned away and instantly felt like I fucked up. I whispered "I think I've seen 8 different people including you. I'm sorry for saying anything. "
He sighed then said "Hey beautiful look at me. I'm sorry for yelling. "
I looked at him
"I only got upset because I only knew about me and her friend picking him up. I told my sister not to have any and everyone picking him up. I guess I'm going to have to suck it up and tell her just to call me." He grabbed my hand and looked into my eyes "At least I get an excuse to see you more.
I smiled holding his back and said "I didn't know you needed an excuse. "
He laughed and said "nah I don't. Shit, you might get tired of me lol. "
I laughed and said "Your fine ass. Nahh. I do want to say I don't want to start anything between u and your sister. I'm so sorry for asking. "
He smiled at me and said "Beautiful stop apologizing because you didn't do anything but show your concern for Ray so thank you"
I smiled and then looked back at the sleeping boy. "Speaking of Ray, Can you take me home so you can put that baby in bed? "
"I guess but I will be getting my date soon," he said while putting the car in reverse.
We drove home vibing to R&B. When we got to my place Nas insisted on walking me to the door.
When we got to the door I was kind of sad. He hugged me he smelled so good and he was so strong and I felt like I melted in his arms. When we released he pecked my lips. He looked at my shocked face and said " I'm giving you a sneak peek at our date next week. " I smiled.
"Now get your beautiful ass in the house and I'll text you when we get home. He said. He stood there until I walked in and closed the door.
As soon as the door I screamed and slid down the door. I got excited until the reality hit that it always starts sweet thebntheu beats you to near death. I shook the item a got really for Nas to get home.
When I get in bed I send a text to KK: So long story I talked to him and he drove me home.
I start scrolling on TikTok. I get a text from a random number:
??-Hey beautiful I'm home. I got all the way home and Ray tricked me into going back out to Taco Bell. Have a great night and get some rest
I realized it was Nas and said lol thanks. Good night.
I fell asleep thinking how he randomly told me what transpired without my pressing him out.
I dozed off
I woke up to 5 missed calls and 3 text messages.

KK-what you mean he took you home? How did this happen all details! (11:50)
KK-So you ignoring me now that's what we do now drop news and leave. (12:55)
I laughed and then opened the next one and was shocked
NASY- Good morning beautiful. I hope you slept well last night. I fell asleep thinking about you and you were first thing on my mind this morning. I want you to know that you will be mine eventually and I will treat you like the Queen that you are. You also are so beautiful. I could have sat in my car forever if that meant I got to look at you. I could keep going but I have things to do today. Thank you for letting me take you home. Have an amazing day beautiful.
I was shocked he barely knows me and putting in a hell of an effort.
I decided to call KK to talk it out.
