I wake up and text Ziya. I start getting ready to go in when I get a call from Ashley. I roll my eyes and answer
Phone call conversation
N- What
A- Attitude much. I didn't even get the chance to say anything.
N- Ashley, I know you enough to know that if you call me this early, you want me to do something for you.
A- Well, I need you to take the kids to school.
N-ALL 3 WHY?
A- The girls missed the bus, and I have a customer coming in 10 minutes, so I can't take all 3 of them.
N- Whatever, I'll be there in 20 minutes.
I hang up.
I am annoyed because she is always doing this bullshit. She probably knew she had this appointment. She likely didn't force them girls out the door like she was supposed to.
I switched Ray's car seat to my Nissan. I get in my Nissan and drive to Ashley's house.
I get there and beep the horn.
The kids walk out the door and get in the car. Ray and Mercedes are in the back. Dallas is in the front next to me. I look at her.
"What you doing, Dal," I said
"I'm sitting in the front, Nas," She said with an attitude.
Dallas Brittney Willis, get your ass in the back seat since you lost your mind," I said
"Whatever," she said while slamming the door and getting in the back.
I back up and drive to the elementary school.
"Hey, Mercedes. Did you have fun with your dad?" I asked
"Yeah, he is getting married, and I am going to be a flower girl." She said
"That's cool, babygirl," I said.
I kept having little conversations till we got to school.
We pull up to the school, and I say, "Have a great day. I love y'all."
"Love you, Nas." They say
I start driving and playing Gracie Corner for Ray.
"Uncle Nas," Ray says.
"Yes, Lil man," I said
"Can we get fila?" he says
I laugh and say, "Yes, we can get Chick-fil-A lil man. What do you want?"
He screams, "MINIS."
"Ok, lil man," I say.
After leaving Chick-fil-A, I tell Ray, "Hey, Lil man, Ms. Jackson might not be there today."
He pouted and said, "Why? "
"She is sick," I say.
We pull up to the school and get out. We go in. When we got to the classroom, I knocked, and there was no answer, so I knocked again. I heard a weak "Come in."
I open the door and instantly get pissed. Ziya was there and looked weak as hell and was doing breakfast. Her trifling as aide just sitting there doing nothing.
Ziya looked at me and quickly looked away at Ray, saying, "Good morning, Ray."
She took off her gloves and started coming over and went to grab Ray's bag from me, and I said, "No, I got it."
I whisper, "We will talk later, but you are still sick. Call me on your lunch."
She just nodded and said, Sorry."
I said nothing, hung up Ray's stuff, and left.
Ziya POV
I don't understand why he is mad, and it's not like we are together. I struggled through the morning because, apparently, Nicole's body was hurting, so I did all of Breakfast, teaching, lunch, cots, and potties. She left before all the kids were on their cots. I wrote a to-do list on the sensory table. When she came in, I had my stuff in my hand and said, "There is a to-do list on the table."
I clock out and prepare to get fussed out.
I call Nas
Z-Hey
N- Hey baby
Z- It sounds like you changed your tune.
N- Yes, I did because You don't need my fussing when you don't feel good.
Z- Well, thank you
N- Just know when you are officially mine, you won't be going to work sick under any circumstance.
Z- 1. I honestly thought I could handle it. 2. I didn't think I was going to see you today. You look fine. 3. What do you mean by when I am yours? I'm not property.
N-1. Babygirl, you are just stubborn. 2. The fact that you think that is good enough is wild. Seeing me or not, you should have known I would check on you, beautiful. Also, thank you, but never as fine as you. Yes, even sick. 3. You are not property, but you will be my queen soon, babygirl.

N- SHHHH, I'll be there around 7 with food. I'll go to the gym beforehand and shower, then head to you if that is cool with you.

N -lol. I will see you tonight. Take medicine before you go back in, please. If you need me to pick something up for you, let me know.
Z- Actually, I need some more Sudafed. I can send you money if you go get it for me.

I smirk and go back to reading my discussion boards when I get a call from Ms. Andrews.

A- Hey. I am giving you a heads up so you are aware when you come in, Ms. Williams is going home early because she is in a lot of pain.
Z- Ok, thanks for letting me know. Where are my 5 kids going?
A- I didn't know you had 15. She said 12.... I will put them in Ms. Hines's class. Then, at 5, we will figure it out.

Hey babe. I might have an attitude tonight, but it isn't because of you. I understand if that makes you not want to come over.
Bestie bitch ❤️🖤- What tf you mean. This bitch ain't do shit today. She was sitting outside. She was sitting every time I walked past your room. Shit, I can see her sitting from my room. You are the one actually sick. I hate that bitch. Watch her be out the rest of the week, too.

I send an eye roll to Kamaria. And text Nas
No, you don't have to come back, babe. My aide is leaving early because she is in pain. I am about to have a long afternoon, and she will probably be out the rest of the week.
N- I will make my comment on her later, but I can rub your feet when I come over if you want.
Z- Yes, please, baby...
N- I got you, baby. Work lightly, please.
I go back in, and Nicole pushes past me and doesn't even take the kids over to Kamaria's room. I roll my eyes and huff. I grab five calm kids and call K
Z- YOOO HINESss
K- WHAT'S UP JACKSON
Z- OPEN YOUR BACK DOOR SO I CAN SEND 5 OVER.
K- WHY..NVM ITS OPEN.
End of conversation and, I send her five kids with their bags
I closed the building alone and walked to my car. On my way to the car, I text Nas that I am leaving work.
I get home and go in and change before Nas gets there. I am now wearing leggings and an oversized hoodie with fuzzy socks.
The doorbell rings, and it's Nas with Chick-fil-A.
"Twice in one day, huh" I tease.
"Shut up. This is what happens when your two favorite people love it", he says while coming in.
We sit on the couch and talk and eat. When we finish, I look at him and say, "Uhm, can we cuddle in my bed?"
His eyes widened, and I realized what he might be thinking and said, "No, I just know my bed gives us more room to cuddle."
"If you want to, babygirl, I'm down," he says.
We go to my room. I turn on Bet and take medicine. I lay on my bed.
Nas lifts my foot and starts massaging it.

He stayed like this. We ended up both falling asleep like this....
