Chapter 5 Feeding
Duan Shubai's chest was big, wide and warm. Leaning on it gave him a sense of home, just like being held in his father's arms when he was a child. But then he remembered that this was a "strange" man who had just bullied him. Xiao Yuhe resolutely pushed him away. After pushing him away, the tip of his nose seemed to still have a faint smell of alcohol from the man.
He knew that the man loved alcohol, and cursed him awkwardly in his heart: drunkard.
Duan Shubai saw that the battle seemed to be over. Qiu Ran knocked on the door and came in with a bowl of porridge. When he came in just now, he told Qiu Ran to go to the big pot to get a bowl of porridge. This wild vegetable porridge was cooked for the victims and soldiers. Although Qiu Ran didn't think that his delicate son would eat such wild vegetable porridge, he finally listened to the general and got a bowl.
As a special case for the general's wife, Xiao Yuhe's bowl of wild vegetable porridge also had minced meat.
Duan Shubai took the porridge and brought it to Xiao Yuhe and sat down. Qiu Ran lowered his eyebrows and left the room and closed the door, letting the general coax his son to eat.
"I heard you haven't eaten for a whole day. You must be hungry. Come and drink this bowl of porridge."
"I'm not hungry."
"Not hungry? Have you become an immortal? Do you want to fast?"
Although Xiao Yuhe didn't know what Duan Shubai meant by "becoming an immortal" and "fasting", he insisted: "I'm not hungry."
As soon as he said this, his stomach started to rumble. Xiao Yuhe's face turned red. Duan Shubai smiled softly: "You said you're not hungry, but your stomach is growling."
He scooped up a spoonful of porridge with a spoon, blew on it gently, and then fed it to Xiao Yuhe's mouth. Xiao Yuhe was hungry after all. She ate the spoonful of porridge obediently with her eyes downcast. Seeing this, Duan Shubai smiled with satisfaction.
He continued to feed the second spoonful, and Xiao Yuhe made a request: "I want to eat by myself, I don't need you to feed me, I'm not a three-year-old child anymore." After saying this, he wanted to grab the bowl of porridge from Duan Shubai's hand.
Three-year-old children are more obedient than you.
Duan Shubai raised his hand to stop him from succeeding, and lowered his head to continue his feeding mission. He and Xiao Yuhe walked all the way from the capital, and he didn't know the eating habits of this young man, who only eats two or three mouthfuls. If he was allowed to eat by himself, he would definitely eat two or three spoonfuls and then stop. Wasteful behavior is not allowed. Duan Shubai can finish more than ten bowls of this bowl of porridge, but this young man only eats a few mouthfuls. How can that work?
He must eat more.
Although Xiao Yuhe was the tallest among the two girls, Duan Shubai was much taller than ordinary men. Sitting next to him, he was half a head taller than him, and he was very intimidating. Master Xiao was flexible. Under such a tyrannical power, and because he had just cried so shamefully, he was too embarrassed to resist too much. So he was suppressed by Duan Shubai and ate the wild vegetable and minced meat porridge in the small jade bowl one spoonful at a time.
Under normal circumstances, Master Xiao could not eat such wild vegetable porridge at all. He might be really hungry and tired of crying, so he ate such food that he looked down on with relish.
It was not as unpalatable as he imagined.
Duan Shubai saw him finish a bowl of hot porridge obediently and aggrievedly, and a bright smile appeared on his handsome face, with a bit of pampering in his smile. Such a big smile was right in front of him, and Xiao Yuhe couldn't ignore it even if he wanted to. He turned his head aside and deliberately didn't look at him. He had just drunk a bowl of hot porridge, and his stomach was a little bloated. He rubbed his belly and then burped.
