Enjoy

Lu haoyu groaned disapprovingly as he stirred awake. Music?... He looked around in confusion. Oh! His eyebrows shot up, as reality dawned on him. A smile worked up his face as he recalled the last night's events. He had demanded for the most elegant room, the room of his father's first and true love, Rong xi. The smile on his face grew wider, as images of a particular someone swirled in his head, his step mother. The look on her face was priceless, when the father was indifferent, refused to listen to her pathetic whims, perhaps he too was fed up of her senseless tantrums.

'young Master'

He turned to the direction of the weary voice, his mouth curled up in manic pleasure. Feets away was Mingyi, tired, but she dared not to stop, tears and snort on her face, fingers bloody, on her dress were stains of blood, both dried and fresh. He had made her play the strings all night, non-stop.

"P-please, for-" she stared to plea, when she saw lu haoyu's unwavering gaze on the bloody dress. "Pardon-" she continued, her voice low and sad, hoping to mop some mercy.

Trying to play victim huh?

His gaze shot up to hers, cold, unfeeling. She gasped, fear in her eyes, he was the devil himself.

"Please? Forgive?"
He repeated coldly, like those words were alien to him, growing smile on his face contrasting the chill in his eyes.

She shivered, her voice died in her throat. She wished she wasn't greedy. She wished she didn't accept to poison his food, to end him for gold pieces. Her fate were summed up into two words, doom,death...

"Ah li"
A raspy voice called between the hiss and heat of food in the huge kitchen.

A smile found its way to lu haoyu's face as his gaze settled on its owner, an old woman, small figured, facial features wrinkled, but her warm eyes held concern, worry...

"Second young master, he's vicious, I fear you'll-"

"Ma" He said in a breathe. Closing the distance between them, he held the old woman's gloved hands in his. " I'll be fine, not to worry."

She nodded, but he could see worry and fear in her eyes, she was afraid for him.

"Here I brought you something"

"Really-" she exclaimed surprised, lu haoyu's lipsa curled up in a smile, he had his back to her but he could hear the the happiness in her voice.

"You really shouldn't have-" she started to say as she collected the bag, rummaging it almost immediately. "Perhaps did you get a new job?"
It was no secret that the original host was a broke ass, he was no better than the servants, who were robbed of their original salary by the scheming madam,

"Ahhh that-" he scratched his neck, at loss of what to say. He smiled sheepishly as she narrowed her eyes at him.

"I got my card from lu delun" by force...

"He gave you?!"
She exclaimed, her eyes wide like saucers. Lu delun was tight fisted, stingy, so if he gave out something...
She could help but worry he had ulterior motives.

"Ahhh not to worry. I'll deal with it." He smiled widely to ease her, she eyed him warily "Just be careful."

Out of the corner of his eyes, he watched a small figure leave, angrily. He smirked, a dark light in his purple orbes...

It was just the beginning...
