Mid June, 2006
"Yeah you probably missed something, that's what." Dean says."Dude, I ran LexisNexis, local police reports, newspapers, I couldn't find a single red flag. Are you sure you got the coordinates right?" Sam asks.
"Yeah, I double checked. It's Fitchburg, Wisconsin. Dad wouldn't have sent us coordinates if it wasn't important Sammy."
"Well I'm telling you I looked and all could find was a big steamy pile of nothing." Sam is starting to get frustrated. "If Dad's sending us hunting for something I don't know what."
"Well maybe he's going to meet us there."
"Yeah. Cause he's been so easy to find up to this point." Sam huffs.
"You're a real smart ass you know that? Don't worry. I'm sure there's something in Fitchburg worth killing."
"Yeah? What makes you so sure?"
"Cause I'm the oldest, which means I'm always right."
I snort from my seat in the back and Dean glares at me in the mirror."No it doesn't." Sam snaps.
"It totally does."

Dean and I walk up to Sam. He is leaning against the Impala and staring ahead. I nudge him and pass him his coffee, to which he gives me a small smile."Hey do you have the time?" He asks.
I glance down at my watch.
"Ten after Four. Why?"He nods towards the playground across the street.
"What's wrong with this picture?"
I look over. It's pretty much deserted. Only one child climbing around."School's out isn't it?" Dean asks.
"Yeah so where is everybody? This place should be crawling with kids right now." Sam frowns and Dean approaches a woman sitting on a bench. Sam and I hang back far enough to hear the conversation.
"Sure is quiet out here." Dean says.
"Yeah it's a shame." She says sadly.
"Why's that?"
"You know, kids getting sick. It's a terrible thing."
"How many?"
"Just five or six but serious, hospital serious. A lot of parents are getting pretty anxious. They think it's catching."

We approach the reception desk of the hospital and Sam shoves his ID towards Dean."Dude. I am not using this ID."
"Why not?"
"Cause it says bikini inspector on it."
I chuckle and Dean grins."Don't worry. She won't even look that close right? Hell, she won't even ask to see it. It's all about confidence Sammy."
He spins Sam to face the desk and I stand next to him. The receptionist looks up giving us a friendly smile.
"Hi. I'm Doctor Jerry Caplin and this is my associate Doctor Andrews." He nods to me. "We're from the Centres for Disease Control."
"Can I see some ID."
I pull out mine as Sam throws Dean a look and opens his, slightly covering the description.
"Now, could you direct us to the paediatrics ward please?"
