Kevin, as usual, was in high spirits, effortlessly charming the audience with his flirty banter. "Hey everyone!" he said with his trademark grin. "Ready for a fun night? Let's get this party started!"
Alex settled into his chair, his expression calm as he observed the chat from a distance. His sharp features and deep, smooth voice drew attention from the viewers. Comments like "Alex, you're so hot!" and "That voice!" flashed across the screen, but Alex remained aloof, interacting with others in his cool, detached manner. He wasn't here to entertain them; he was here to kill time.
As usual, Alex avoided getting sucked into the energy of the chat. His cold demeanor always drew in more attention, but he couldn't care less about the flirtatious remarks flooding the screen. All he wanted was to get through the stream without any drama, but he knew that was probably asking too much.
A few minutes into the stream, Wiyan appeared on the screen. "Hey there, everyone!" Wiyan's voice was warm and engaging as he greeted the chat, instantly drawing people in with his friendly energy. He quickly slipped into a lively conversation with Kevin, their chemistry apparent as they bantered back and forth.
"Kevin, you're always up to something fun," Wiyan said with a laugh. "I bet you've got some wild stories to share."
Kevin chuckled, his usual carefree tone kicking in. "Oh, you know me. Always full of surprises."
But then he noticed Alex for the first time. His eyes widened slightly, caught off guard by Alex's striking appearance on screen.
Damn, that voice belongs to a face like that? Wiyan thought, momentarily stunned. The way Alex's features were framed by the soft light, his sharp jawline and intense gaze, made Wiyan's heart skip a beat. It was like he had been hearing a beautiful melody all along, but now he was finally seeing the symphony it belonged to.
Alex, however, was far less impressed. He felt the weight of Wiyan's gaze and rolled his eyes internally. Great, just what I need—a golden retriever who thinks he's the main character. He quickly tried to shift his focus back to Kevin, but Wiyan's animated demeanor was hard to ignore.
"Is that you, Alex?" Wiyan asked, his voice tinged with genuine excitement as he addressed the chat. "Man, I've heard you in the games, but seeing you here? Wow, you're even more handsome than I imagined!"
Alex's brow furrowed. Here we go. Just a fucking attention seeker, making sure everyone knows he's noticed me. He kept his expression neutral, fighting the urge to let his annoyance show. "Yeah, it's me," he replied coolly, crossing his arms. "Just here to hang out."
Kevin chimed in, completely oblivious to the tension building between the two. "Alex, you're always playing it cool. You gotta show us more of that charm!" He laughed, trying to keep the mood light.
Wiyan leaned closer to the screen, his curiosity piqued. "What's your secret, Alex? You've got this mysterious vibe going on. How do you keep it all together?"
Seriously? Alex thought, his irritation bubbling. Does this guy ever stop? He felt like Wiyan was trying way too hard to create a connection. "No secret. Just don't give a damn about impressing anyone," he replied, his tone clipped.
Wiyan smirked, clearly enjoying the banter. "I like that! No bullshit, just honesty. But c'mon, you can't tell me you don't want some attention, right?"
There it is again. Attention seeker. Alex shook his head, fighting to keep his cool. "I'm not here for that," he said firmly. "And if you want to keep the audience entertained, you might want to focus on something other than me."
Wiyan's playful expression faltered for a moment, but then he recovered, a twinkle in his eye. "Fair enough! But you know, sometimes it's nice to share the spotlight. It's not always about one person. Even a mysterious guy like you can have fun!"
