The day of the practical exam flashed by in the blink of an eye.
The written one has gone well for you so far. You were sure that there wouldn't be as much of a struggle in the practicals yet you started to have doubts about fighting robots when you and your classmates were standing in front of a bunch of teachers, their serious gazes making you come to a realization.
The exam wouldn't be about robots.
No matter what it would be, you would pass, you thought, standing next to Izuku.
You still didn't seem too keen about going to the training camp with a bunch of students there where a small mistake could make you slip up, but you had little to no choice.
Mina and Kaminari started to cheer when they confidently said that the exam would be those robots from the entrance exam while they cheered about the oncoming training camp before their hopes were crushed.
"Not quite! Various circumstances have demanded a revision to the exam format! As such, you students will be pairing up and fighting one of the teachers you see here!"
Pairing up was one of the worst things that they could have done for the exam.
Nezu, the director, continued to explain how they paired up the students based on their friendships, grades and battle moves, continuing with assigning the pairs.
And when they announced that Izuku would be paired with Bakugo, you could only internally sigh in relief that you weren't paired with him. Izuku would deal with him. Somehow. They had to fight against All Might.
Soon enough, you were the only one left.
"Meaning that I don't have to do the exam?", said you, not even believing the truth of your own words.
"We have decided that you alone will face one pro hero and then we will test your cooperativeness by teaming you up with Izuku and Bakugo. Your battle will be the only one outside of school grounds and you'll be the only one to do the exam twice", explained the director.
Something that U.A. had taught you was that something definitely could get worse. Your imaginary sigh of relief was taken back by you.
"Isn't it unfair to let a student fight against a real pro hero? And why out of school?", asked Uraraka, worried about you.
If only she knew. For most of the pro heroes, you could beat them.
"We have analyzed her battle moves, her compatibility and so on. And the pro hero volunteered to be a part of the exam for her", elaborated Aizawa, his voice unwavering as he glanced at you.
"Furthermore, we want to test her capability of adjusting to a different location and team too"
He knew of your strength as it was proven even more when you explained your disappearance. The whole hidden purpose of these two exams for you was to prove if you were really fit to find the traitor and if you were strong and smart enough to fight against two pro heroes at different times. He still had his doubts about sending a child to investigate.
