“Hey hey hey Astrea Sensei! Long time no see, huh?”
Kamiji said as she rushed towards the flaming red haired man with great vigor, playfully hitting him in the shoulder with that signature fiery smirk of her's. If Midoriya hadn't been informed of their past, he would've 100% believed that the teacher was her classmate
“Ah, it's nice to finally see you again, Kamiji. And please, I'm getting too old for your antics” Dismissing his plea with the wave of her hand, the respect that Midoriya had initially expected to see from their guardian was completely flipped on its head
I mean, just look at how she is behaving! That is absolutely no way to act with your Sensei!
“Oh don't say that, it's been months since I've heard from you! So what have you been up to anyways?” Kamiji asked as she looked around the open yard of the property, familiarity being apparent through the way she aimlessly walked around with each step taken making soft contact with the lush green grass
“While I would love to tell you all about my work, I'm afraid that it is not my place to say such things without restraint” Astrea calmly replied. He appeared eager to explain at first, his eyes lighting up like a Christmas tree. But then that light would be dampened as he forcibly restrained himself when he further thought about it
“Hmm, fair enough” She shrugged, understanding that it was time to stop prying. Much to the relief of both Astrea and Midoriya
Midoriya in particular, thought that it was a shame that the ex Pro Hero had to maintain secrecy over something that he was very clearly passionate about. He himself never really had consequences for the endless mumblings he would get into once something excites him, so to imagine himself having to stop upon the mere mention of his passion was simply… saddening
Which to be fair, he would annoy a lot less people if he got rid of his habit of unending Hero related ramblings
“And wow, this place hasn't changed a single bit! Completely empty!” Kamiji exclaimed as she turned around to face the group with wide open arms similar to what Astrea had previously performed upon their entry, though with more of an energetic feeling as opposed to grandeur
“Want me to recommend a gardener for ya?” The blazing haired woman jokingly asked with a toothy smirk, the blazing copper flame that made up her hair being fanned by the winds of the outside
From what Midoriya could see of the open field of lively grass, there seemed to be little utilization of the greenery provided. Only the shrubbery that resided behind the secure walls which in his opinion was a bit of a missed opportunity. Maybe if there were a gazebo somewhere in the middle of the garden then it would've looked a lot less empty
“Haha… your offer is much appreciated but I currently have no need for one” Astrea half heartedly replied as he played along with the joke, to which she simply shrugged
“Alrighty!” Kamiji loudly clapped her hands, promptly attracting everyone's attention before continuing “Astrea Sensei, meet my boss’ interns, Midoriya, Bakugou and Todoroki” Kamiji introduced as she pointed at each one respectively, earning an earnest nod of understanding as he examined the three. Almost as if he was trying to remember something
“It's nice to meet you, sir!” Midoriya said with a deep bow, showing the utmost respect to their host while the other two students only performed light bows made out of obligation to abide by basic etiquette. To which the flaming red haired man simply smiled
“While I'm flattered, know that I am merely providing you a place to stay” With the trio's introduction out of the way, Midoriya internally hoped that their stay here wasn't going to be much of a bother
