Last night, during the season premiere of [your favourite show] in London, all eyes were on Y/N and her rumoured lover. Aside from the carpet photos with the rest of the cast, Y/N and her heartthrob co-star were not seen together again. Y/N posed and walked the carpet alone while her rumoured girlfriend posed with one of her new co-stars from the horror movie she's currently filming. It looks like the couple parted ways, if they were ever really together. What do you think? Was it a PR stunt, a pipedream from us fans or the real deal? Let us know in the comments!
Y/N locked her phone when she saw plenty of articles with her name in the headline. She knew she would have been a topic of conversation either way, whether she'd walked the carpet with her co-star or not, but she didn't realise people would think they had broken up, rather than them not having been an item at all. Immediately, and pathetically so, her mind went to Lorine. She knew the Swede wasn't one for social media, let alone one to browse tabloids and gossip pages. But she'd done so once, assuming Y/N was dating her costar, so who was to say she wasn't still scanning the internet now and then? Y/N just hoped that this output of articles didn't make things worse and that it wouldn't make Lorine tear the letter into shreds. She still hadn't heard anything from Lorine after sending it, and she feared the worst. The best case scenario would be that the letter was still undiscovered on the bottom of a pile of fanmail, the worst case was that maybe Lorine had just thrown it away without another thought. Y/N hadn't made a copy of it, she'd just sat down and wrote everything down that had come to mind. She'd poured her heart into those hasty scribbles. And if it had all been for nothing... well, then at least she'd finally gotten it off her chest and admitted to herself what she'd tried so long to deny— she was in love with Lorine Talhaoui. The letter was a last resort in hopes of a second chance, but that thought made her chuckle from the irony of it. There were no second chances, not when she'd broken Lorine's heart, but still, she'd dared to send a letter and hoped the Swede would hear her out. It had been seven weeks and four days since she'd sent the letter. Yes, she was counting. She didn't want to let it get to her too much, knowing Lorine didn't empty her PO Box every other week. Still, she felt frantic each morning she woke up with no letter on her mat or missed call or text. It worried her. Immensely. She could feel herself spiral with her thoughts. It wasn't until she'd gotten a serious scolding from her manager and the director on set that she realised things needed to change. She needed to get out of her head. But before she could leave those worries behind her, she needed to not let the entire situation dictate her life. So, she'd started working on herself. She'd tried to flip her mindset and, with the help of a professional with whom she had regular calls and meetings, had managed to mend some of the scars that had made her feel impossible to love and to love back. Her trek up to that steep mountain top wasn't even half finished but she knew, with the acceptance and help of Lorine once she confessed all that she'd ever felt for the woman, she could get there in no time. If Lorine would have her again, that was. Not as the occasional fling or best friend bordering on lover, but as her true and only love. It worried her, that Lorine was still attached to her healing journey in a way. Perhaps that was okay, so long as she didn't let her happiness depend on the Swede.... so long as she didn't spend her free days, of which she had a lot now after finishing the show, thinking too much about the what-ifs and other doom scenarios.
It had proved a more difficult task than initially anticipated, so, she had accepted a film offer. The script and premise of the film were great and the schedule fit just perfectly. What sealed the deal, was the fact her co-lead was [your favourite actress], someone whose work she had admired for years. The only bad thing about it all? She had to leave Europe for a couple of weeks to film in British Columbia, Canada. She'd have to miss her family and friends for a little bit, but perhaps the seclusion would be great for her peace of mind, to truly pull her out of her heartbreak bubble and push her into a new one of new experiences, friends and situations. And so, new articles all started to surface on the world wide web.
