Welcome to our third part, and continuation of the second part, writing
Now we have decided what we have to write about, the next biggest issue
"Suhana words doesn't flow through me, what should I do, I become as blank as my paper, when I start writing"
If this is you then listen to me babes, my honest and true advice would be, write
Write whatever comes to your mind, let it be total bullshit who is coming to judge you?
Don't go behind fancy words, tum Shashi Tharoor nahi ho meri jaan and it's quite alright
You can also write and incorporate your mother tongue to add more depth into the story
Like I add Hindi dialogues and that makes my readers laugh and connect more to my story
But don't forget to add translation every now and then or else the readers who don't understand your language would have a hard time
Your first draft doesn't have to be perfect, just put it out there and honestly guys we have free editors everywhere, because everyone is ready to point out your mistakes 😉 so take advantage of that
____________
Secondly about pov writing, whether should I write in third person or second person
My reasoning is simple, as long as it isn't necessary try to write in third person, because in my honest opinion third opinion is more engaging
But whether you feel comfortable writing like that or not is also a main concern
So like I said, write a draft and see which one is working for you
____________
Now let's come onto our third part, and something important, you are not writing about yourself, but another person
Even though you are the one penning down every person, they have to differ from one another or else readers won't engage, every characters of yours won't have same thoughts or tone of speaking or even same habits
Some can be outgoing, some would be shy, so incorporate that idea within the readers
And the best way to do that is to base off your character from any person from your life, I base off my male characters from my brother and male friends and my female characters from myself and my female parts of my life
But that doesn't mean you will entirely put your real life in to those characters, find any aspect from your real life, and give that unique colours to your characters in the books
Real life also teaches us many things, you can also put your day to day conversation in your books and trust me it's funny, and who doesn't like funny (except some psychopaths)
Many people ask me how I write funny dialogues, but in reality those dialogues are what me and my brother converse daily (we are very funny I know)
And if nothing helps, I straightaway go to google and search for some male/female characters description and try to base off my characters from those
Writing should flow from within you, once you start it's impossible to stop, obstacles will come but look around you and you will also find answers
Anyways what's one advice you would give to other authors?
Any more questions drop it into comments, and part three of writing will come, where I will converse more about emotions and how to promote on instagram, tell me what you want to know
