Now the main question I got asked was how to promote our works

The main thing we need is an IG account because let's think for a second, getting known through IG is more easy, than Wattpad

There are many books, maybe eerily similar to each other and that's why you need to show people your book is different

Now how to do that?

Post edits of your books.

It can be any dialogues shared between any characters, or snippet of your scene or anything which can be made into an attractive edit

And you have to be active there to get better engagement, you can't be like you don't post for two days then post on the third day

Wattpad nahi hai, wahan pe engagement banaye rakhni padti hai

Apps that I use for editing are—

Capcut for editing and pinterest for finding pictures and videos that's it

I use capcut through VPN cuz it isn't available in India and if you don't want to use that, then use Inshot that's a pretty good app too

Tip :: Writers don't like when you promote on their conversation board when you haven't even read a single book of theirs

If you know me then I have promoted books of my readers who have genuinely supported me

Don't just see a writer's following and promote your book there, because they won't read it and can delete it too, and promoting like this would just bring temporary readers

If you genuinely can't make an ig account, then I would suggest, find books in the same genre as yours and then go to that book's comment section

Pick any reader/s and go to THEIR conversation board, and promote your book to them, there your book has more chance to shine

And lastly don't doubt yourself, not everyone can write a book, if you can, then you have a talent and no one can this away from you
