Bat-Troll And Mr. Freeze: SubZero

The Arctic

In the Arctic, two Polar Bears and the Funk Troll supervillain, Mr. Freeze were catching Fish. A submarine was doing an expedition.

Captain: Secure from quarters. All ahead 2/3.

Crew member #1: All ahead 2/3.

Captain: Come left heading 1-9-0. Set depth for 100 meters.

Crew Member #2: Aye aye. 20 degrees down angle on the bow planes. Come left 1-9-0. Range to destination?

Crew Member #3: 8 kilometers.

Mr. Freeze and his Polar Bears head back up to the surface.

Captain: Hoskins, what are the conditions up there?

Hoskins: 30 degrees below zero, sir, and we've got a storm moving in.

Captain: Landing party on deck. Now collect your data quickly and get back to the ship. No one can survive for long in that kind of cold.

Mr. Freeze and his Polar Bears head to their home in an ice cave where Mr. Freeze has a Techno Troll child in his care.

Mr. Freeze: Koonak?

Koonak: Do you have dinner?

Mr. Freeze shows he has a bag full of Fish.

Koonak: Oh, Salmon.

The sumbmarine crew picks up something on their sonar.

Crew Member #4: 100 meters to surface, Captain. Reading a thin layer of ice beneath a mountainous terrain. Possibly a cave

Captain: All back 1/3.

Crew Member #6: All back 1/3.

In his cave, Mr. Freeze approaches his ill wife, Nora Fries.

Mr. Freeze: 15 years today, darling. Did you think I would forget? How could I? The day we met was the happiest day of my life. A gift for you.

He shows a flower.

Mr. Freeze: I found it in the snow. Fragile beauty clinging to life in this frozen wasteland. Like you, Nora.

Crew Member#7: 30 meters below surface and closing. Estimate impact in 15 seconds.

The submarine starts surfacing.

Koonak: How long does she have to stay in there?

Mr. Freeze: Until a cure can be found. Until then, my love, we'll be here together.

The submarine surfaces in the cave and it starts a cave in, causing Nora's pod to break.

Mr. Freeze: Nora!

Crew Member #8: Let's move out.

The Polar Bears help Koonak and Freeze out of the ice. Freeze sees his wife buried in the ice.

Crew Member #9: Man, I've never seen it that cold.

Crew Member #10: Let's get inside.

They find the submarine frozen.

Crew Member #11: What in the name of?

They find the whole crew frozen.

Crew Member #11: My God! What happened?

Crew Member #12: It's the whole crew.

Mr. Freeze: Not quite.

Mr. Freeze freezes the last five crew members.
