Scarlet Spider

    Scarlet Spider would be with Wolverine and Laura as they tried to pick up the scent of either Goblin or anyone else that could possibly be a clone, and follow them to the secret lab. Most of the journey with some rests has turned up nothing, but the sounds of several people down on the streets filled the void of silence that was between the three as they were on a rooftop to take a break for now. "Peter sounds less like himself since you two found the lab four days ago," Wolverine stated as he takes a bite out of a burrito.

    "With seeing Green Goblin alive, it's caused a lot of bad memories and emotions to resurface," Scarlet Spider stated as he drank some coffee while at the edge of the building.

    X-23 looked at Scarlet before looking at Wolverine for a moment, "Wait, Green Goblin died? He just didn't disappear and become the Hobgoblin?"

    Scarlet looked over his shoulder before he walked back fully onto the roof as he pulled his mask down. "Yep. There is a reason why Peter doesn't mention Green Goblin or anything surrounding their last fight."

    Wolverine thought of something dark but he didn't think that was possible knowing who Spider-Man was, "Did Peter kill the psychopath?"

    Scarlet looked at Wolverine then X-23 for a few moments before he sighed, "Look, since it's you two. I'll tell you but the rest has to come from Peter ok?" he asked and the two would slowly nod. "Yes, Peter killed Green Goblin. He shoved the glider through his chest."

    "Wait, the kid did what?! What did Goblin do that caused Peter to snap like that?"

    "Green Goblin took someone very important away from Peter, this was years before he met MJ but it still haunts him," Scarlet Spider spoke as he looked back at the city. "He might inspire heroes to be better but... he is still human, he tried to get rid of his powers one time a year after Goblin's death. He was in a dark place during that time but... it's not something he talks about that much."

    Wolverine crossed his arms, "Sounds a lot like Beast during one time in his life."

    "Except unlike Hank," Scarlet turned to Wolverine, "Peter still killed a man who had a family. Even though he made a vow after that to not kill anyone ever again, he has a breaking point, and I'm afraid he will get pushed to that breaking point again."

    "And he will kill again?"

    "If pushed far enough he might, but you know how much he tries to preach to not kill anyone to Punisher and a few times to you?"

    "Yeah, that happened a lot before Laura came around," Wolverine mentioned as he looked at his daughter then back at Scarlet Spider. "So the kid is a hypocrite?"

    Scarlet Spider nodded, "In a way yes, but it's one of the events in his life he can never forgive himself for. He has tried hard to forget that day and now it's all coming back to haunt him with a vengeance. I might have to fight him to keep Peter from possibly killing anyone else again."

    X-23 approached Scarlet and put an arm on his shoulder, "If you need backup. We got you covered Ben."

    "Thanks Laura," Scarlet Spider said before an explosion went off in the distance. "Well, lunch time is officially over," he said as he finished his burrito and pulled his mask down. "Let's go guys," he said with enthusiasm before he ran to the edge and jumped off the building. Firing a web and started to web sling to the scene of the explosion. Leaving X-23 and Wolverine behind for a few moments before they ran after him.

    Iron-Man was slammed into a wall, breaking a few bricks and some concrete was also shot everywhere, hitting some people that were getting away. He shook his head before looking up to see the armor of Crimson Dynamo standing over him, "Remember me svoloch'?"
