Spider-Man: Clone Saga

Start of the End

    The Blackbird, one of the few flying vehicles that the X-Men used in their mission of justice, soared through the skies over the Indian Ocean, on its way to Japan. Inside the Blackbird; Captain America was looking at the different instruments before looking at the heroes that came with him while the others took the X-Jet. Spider-Man, Scarlet Spider, and Kaine were just talking about how they were going to find a cure for Kaine if the lab didn't have one: then next to them was Storm, Rogue, Bruce with a blanket over him and purple pants, and X-23. On the other side there was Magneto, Ice Man, Daredevil who hitched a ride with them before they took off, and Thing. "Dr. McCoy," Captain said as he looked at Beast for a moment, "Seeing that they will be waiting for us, does Professor Xavier have a clue on who the mole is yet?"

    "Not yet Captain," Beast said before reaching up and flick a few switches, "But when he does he will let us know."

    Captain America nodded before he tapped the left ear, "Yellowjacket, Iron-Man, Hawkeye, are you ready?"

    "As ready as I'll ever be."

    "Aye, aye, Captain."

    "All arrows are ready."

    "Good, get ready," Captain America nodded before looking at his team, "Alright people, listen up."

    "Yes Captain?" Kaine asked as he crossed his arms.

    Logan pulled his black gloves up a bit before looking at Cap, this new costume was different than anything Logan ever wore in his superhero career. This costume was all black with yellow slash marks on shoulders before stopping at the short sleeves, a yellow belt with a X on the buckle, a red circle with a black X on his right pectoral, and black boots with yellow buckles. "Just shut it kid, let the man speak," Logan ordered before getting out a cigar and putting it in his mouth.

    "Look, I know that this hasn't really been easy on all of us," Captain America stated, "I've done better at rallying troops against Nazis, Hydra, and some other dictators that we have fought together, not clones and definitely not against some members of the U.S. Government," he stopped for a moment. "This is not just a battle for us against resurrected enemies and some old friends we might have lost along our way, but for the freedom of those that are born into this world with no choice or concept of what freedom really is," he said before looking at Kaine and Scarlet. "For those that have been cast aside because they are different or that they aren't cut to be soldiers, we fight so that they can be more than just clones and expendable soldiers. We fight because clones, no matter who or what they are, ARE human beings!"

    All the heroes cheered except for Kaine, he did listen to Cap's words but he didn't fully agree with it. Looking down at his arms as he popped out the stingers before retracting them, he still had a plan to kill as much clones as he can. "Then what? While everyone is fighting, I sneak in with the two jolly spiders?" He asked.

    "That is the plan bub," Logan stated before taking the cigar out and lighting it, "We provide the distraction while you three go down and make sure they stop making clones," he finished before putting the cigar in his mouth.

    "And kick bad guy butt while we are at it," Scarlet Spider said before fist pumping the air. "The Spider Bros got this!"

    Kaine groaned before he facepalmed, "Please... stop calling us that... we are clones of the original. Not biological identical triplets."

    "Not with that attitude," Spider-Man said as Kaine just popped his head up in surprised, "Believe it or not Kaine. You are our brother and..." he said before he leaned back in his chair. "I always wanted brothers."
