Second was cautiously walking around Floralsong. Someone very special wanted to meet him here.

"He said he would be by the Indiyvanna Cafe.." He mumbled, looking around a little more.

"Second!!~" He jumped, turning around to see..

"M-Madam Floralsong! W-what a surprise!" He said as Rosetta smiled. "Good evening Second, how is everything."

This was Rosetta, the 5th and current Archon of Floralsong. She was pretty, sweet and kind, and did what was right for her people.

"Uh— everything is alright, actually. I was just about to head out to meet someone." He smiled as Rosetta gently pats his head. "That's nice."

"How's Green been treating you?" She giggled as he rolled his eyes playfully. "Great." He smiled as Rosetta giggled.

"Good, good. So.. where are you headed?" She asked as Second looked around. "Uh— it's.. secret..ehe.." He nervously laughed. Rosetta sighed before ruffling his hair.

"Okay, okay, just.. be careful, k?" She said, walking away. "And don't forget to visit!!" She called out.

Second let out a sigh of relief, eventually making it to a nice looking house. He knocked on the door.

......

....

..

The door opened. It was Alan in a human disguise. "Good evening, child." He said, formally.

"Okay can we get this over with? This kinda shit is illegal you know." Second said as Alan giggled softly, leading Second to a room.

Second gasped in horror, seeing his own brother's unconscious body laid on the table with a cloth draped over his body.

"I did the best I could to patch him up but recovery magic isn't my specialty." Alan lightly chuckled.

Second sighed, pulling back the cloth a little, examining the giant slash across his chest. "..Vic." He mumbled. His hands glowed green as he pressed a hand to Victim's chest, slowly healing the wound.

"So.. you're sure I can bring him back? I didn't even think revival magic was possible." Second mumbled, examining Victim's face. His eye color was greyed out aswell as his skintone being super pale, almost white.

"Of course, you are a god after all." Alan smiled. "It took a bit to even find him. I forgot mortals bury the dead."

"Y-YOU DUG UP HIS GRAVE???" Second jumped as Alan blinked.

"Precisely."

Second face palmed. "We've really got to teach you how to be a mortal.." Second turned back to Victim.

"I.." He huffed. "Okay. Im ready." He said. "How is this going to work??"

"Each of you were created using power from the Sovereigns of your element. In order to bring him back, we would need to use some power from someone. Hm.. maybe the Cryo Sovereign.."

"N-NO!!" Second shouted before clearing his throat as Alan simp,y blinked. "Ah— no- let's .. let's not steal from Shady again uHm.." he looked back at Victim. "He can use mine." He said as Alan jumped.

"Wh— give Victim your element I— child, are you sure?? Magic is the strongest element next to Harmony and you'll only have half your power. What if you need it!—"

"Dad!" Second said. "I have Harmony too now remember? In fact, I'm willing to give up all my magic so he has his own element," Second spoke.

"What if he.. continues his evil reign." Alan spoke. Second shook his head,

"He won't. Me ans Chosen will keep him safe. He will stay with Chosen until he's reformed and we'll keep a close eye on him." Second spoke. Alan nodded.

"Okay. We're just waiting on Chosen with the Sovereign gem." He said. Just then, Chosen came in, holding a rainbow gem,

"Here it is." He spoke. "What's the deal with this?"

"It will help us bring him back.." Alan said, placing it right on Victim's chest.

"After we reform Victim, then all we need is Dark and we can be reunited again! Fulfill our original duty of protecting over the 8 nations!" Second said as Chosen sighed. "That's if we reform Victim. We don't know what could happen."

"Especially since Second plans to give him his full element." Alan said as Chosen snapped towards Second.

"Seriously??? Are you fucking stupid??"

"Guys guys, I have hope! I.. I can sense it. Somehow.. I know he wants to change, he just.. doesn't know how. If he's going to listen to anyone it's going to be us, Cho-Cho." Second said, taking Chosen's hands. "Please. Just trust me.. have I ever steered you wrong?"

"Yes." Chosen spoke. "Many times.. but.. okay." He sighed. "I will trust you."

Second smiled. "It's ready." Alan spoke. "All you, child."

Second walked up to Victim, and let out a deep breath. He placed both his hands on Victim's chest, and began transporting his magic to him. Both their veins were visible and glowing during this process. Second's were green and Victim's were an icy blue, aswell as Second's hands glowing.

This process was painful for Second. Very painful. Eventually there was a small blast, pushing them all back.

...

...

...

Black..

"Second! Second!!" Chosen shouted shaking Second as he sat up straight. "Ughhhh.. my head." He held his head and looked at his hands. Tried to use his magic and.. nothing.

"Hopefully that didn't go to waist.. I'm all outta juice." Second spoke, standing up and walking over to Victim.

He gently shook his brother. "Heyy.. Vict..? You uhm.. alive?" He asked.

After a short while, Victim's eyes twitched before opening them.

"..Sec..?"  He looked at him.

God this chapter may be a lil controversial. I know this looks bad and I know what you were thinking.

"But Jay, doesn't this basically make Victim's death look like nothing but a dumb 5 second plot point just made up last second to drag out a tear from the audience?"
Possibly. Maybe it does makw Victim's death loom like basic filler to extend the read time but I promise there's a reason why he's back.
