Yellow was frantically searching around his house looking for some kind of substitute."No, no, that wont work!" He said, running to the kitchen and going through his drawers. Red sat on the couch with a smirk.
"Maybe you can jab him with some silverware." He said as Yellow gave him a look.
"Is there really nothing I can do about this?? Blue, don't you have some kind of book on visions being taken???" Yellow snapped at Blue as he flinched slightly.
"Uh— uhm, I don't know! Probably not on that exact topic but.. h-hold on!" He spoke, running to another room. Red looked at Yellow.
"Not cool, dude.. that's your boyfriend."
Yellow sighed, sitting down next to him. "I know I know I just— UGHHHHHHH" He said, kicking his feet.
Red sighed as he pat his shoulder.
Eventually, Blue came back out with a book. "Okay so.. I found something useful." He spoke. Yellow and Red perked up.
"Archons of Alchemara, chapter 5, section 3. The Sovereigns."
"What could sovereigns going to do in this situation??" Yellow groaned as Blue shushed him. Blue then spoke again.
"Zhou has been the lightning sovereign for generations and still is as of writing this book. No one knows where he resides but it's said he's supposedly good friends with the Ice Sovereign." Blue said.
Yellow perked up. "Hm. But why would we need a sovereign?"
"Sovereigns are strong enough, in fact stronger than the Archons and have the ability to dethrone Archons if they so choose. So theoretically speakinggggg.." Blue said, waving his hand in hopes Yellow would pick up.
"OH! We find this "Zhou" guy and we get back my vision aswell as possibly dethrone Stormfright." Yellow said as Blue clapped.
"Bingo!!"
"So.. how do we find this guy exactly?" Yellow asked.
Blue looked back to his book. "Well.." he mumbled. "It's said that Zhou might've been friends with the Ice Sovereign. Now, I have no idea when this book was even written, so I don't know if it was actually Shady per se.. but he is the current Ice Sovereign. He may still know something."
"We're going to have to go back to Cryoblood??" Red whined as Blue nodded.
"Affirmative. Thankfully tho, it's no longer a completely closed off country. Only downside is Purple was unable to join due to official business back home.."
Blue stood up, as the others did too. "Well then, shall we get going?" He asked. Red gave a small groan.
"Yeah yeahh.." Red rolled his eyes. As the group stood up, and headed out the door, on their way to Cryoblood.
Shady sat in Victim's— or well, his office now, looking down. He was flipping through Victim's old journal, getting tears all over the pages. He gave a small shakey sigh, closing the book as he stood up.
That's when he got a large shiver through his body, and paused.
".. no. That can't be right.." he mumbled. He ran over and went through the drawers of the desk, before finding it. A gem.
It was an Archon gem, used to determine an Archon's state of life. Sovereigns cannot become proper Archons and since there was no proper celebration or election for a new Archon, the gem was still tied to Victim.
As he stared at the gem, he was shocked at what he was seeing. The gem was.. glowing!
"N-no.. h-how he's not alive he's! He's!" Then he gasped. He remembered how Second was able to heal his wounds a while back while training.
"Did he.. no.. really? He wouldn't without informing me tho would he..?" He mumbled. As he continued pacing around, he sighed. "Maybe I just.. need a distraction."
He said as he exited the room, walking down the halls. He opened the doors to the break room, revealing a few employees sitting around. "Good evening Mr. Sovereign sir." An employee said as Shady nodded. He walked over to the back table, towards the familiar group.
"Mr. Boss man! What's up!" Ballista shouted with a smile.
Primal gave a simple wave. "Evening."
Hazard gave a wave with a smile.
"Good evening, everyone" Shady spoke. He then gave a sigh.
"Anything uhm.. off today?" He asked. They all simply shook their heads no.
"Not really." Ballista spoke. "Why?"
"Uh.. no reason, no reason." Shady spoke. Just then, a guard walked into the room.
"Monsieur Sovereign, sir!!" He spoke, putting a fist to his chest. Shady stood up.
"There are a couple visitors at the door for you!!" He spoke.
"Names?" Shady asked.
"Blue, a class B resident from Tidalbrew. Yellow, a class A resident from Thundertech, and Red, a class A resident from Embersteel." He spoke.
"Hm." He spoke. "Send them to my office." Shady spoke as he began walking back to his office. Maybe they knew something? Either way, they were here for a reason.
As Shady sat in his office, there was soon a knock at the door.
"Come in." Shady said. The 3 boys soon walked in.
"Good evening, Shady sir." Blue said, bowing.
"Ah— no need for the formalities. We're all friends here, are we not?" Shady lightly chuckled.
"What can I do for you all?"Both Red and Yellow looked at Blue. Blue gave a sigh.
"Okay.. this is pretty urgent and I'm unsure if you want to get involved but— we need your help, Shades." Blue spoke as Shady raised an eyebrow.
"Uhm.. we need to know about Zhou's wearabouts." Blue spoke.
Shady's overall demeanor changed as he seemed tense, almost angry.
"A-anything at all! An address, a-a river, even what this guy could possibly look like—"
"No." Shady spoke bluntly.
