Clementine wakes up and looks around and sees that she's in her bedroom alone. She begins to cry when her door opens Clemetine looks to see what looks like a younger version of herself enter the room
Clementine: Great I'm going crazy.
The younger version of herself sits next to her
Young Clementine: Are you okay miss?
Clementine: Little girl what's your name?
Young Clementine: Clementine.
Clementine: I've officially lost it.
Young Clementine: You look like me.
Clementine: You're not real.
Young Clementine: W-what?
Clementine: Sorry, I mean.. I'm you but older.
Young Clementine: You have my hat. Except it looks older.
Clementine: It's the same hat. Do you know who Jett is?
Young Clementine: He's my neighbor who just moved in.
Clementine: What do you think about him?
Young Clementine: He's nice. And he's protected me from bullies.
Clementine: Do you think he's dangerous?
Young Clementine: For a little bit I did. But not anymore. So if your me, why were you crying?
Clementine: Because he's a danger to himself.
Young Clementine: I don't understand.
Clementine: Do you know what a walker is?
Young Clementine: Someone who walks.
Clementine sighs before explaining to her what the world would become
Young Clementine: D-do we get eaten?
Clementine: I'm right here... so no we don't.
Young Clementine: Does Jett get eaten?
Clementine: He's safe... right now. We protect each other.
Young Clementine: Why don't our parents do that?
Clementine: W...we got split up from them.
Young Clementine: ...oh.
Clementine: I..I'm mad at Jett right now.
Young Clementine: Why?
Clementine: Because I recently had to rescue him from bad people. And he looked really badly hurt, but whenever I ask him he always says he's fine! I can tell that he's clearly in a lot of pain but he won't tell me that! And he won't even let me bandage his wounds! I'm mad because he is trying to be so manly that he's willing to die from his injuries rather than say he's in pain!
Young Clementine: Well... maybe he's just looking out for us.
Clementine: What do you mean mini me?
Young Clementine: He told me he cares for me and I think he wants us to not feel worried about him.
Clementine: I think that too... I just wish he could tell me he was in pain.
Young Clementine: Has he ever told you he's been hurt?
Clementine: Only once.
Young Clementine: When?
Clementine: 4 years ago... or 3 years in the future for you. Jett gets bit by a dog, we have to stitch him up and that's the only time he's ever told me he's in pain. I felt so bad for him, I did all I could but it felt like it wasn't enough.
