Amelia's pov
Me and Kol have been keeping a relationship more on the down low secretive side, but that's what makes it exciting. Sneaking around to see your secret lover gets your heart racing and blood pumping. Your palms sweaty from the nerves is being caught, we may have almost gotten caught at least a couple of times but we end up back in each other's arms.
I finally got my babies back thanking the people for helping get them back. I have a son and a daughter. Klaus's child, my little boy Zryan my little bundle of joy but I could tell he was giving everyone hell giving who his father was.
And then my little girl Aurora, she's my little princess she had the biggest brown eyes and a gummy smile on her face. I expect that given her father is Noble. She looks more like her mother but adores her father, classic daddy's girl.
Zryan had my brunette hair and brown eyes but that's all he had, I swear if he got to adult age a spitting image of his father.
I was sitting in the nursery holding both children in each arm swaying them to sleep as I rocked in the rocking chair.
" You look beautiful," a voice said behind me, I opened my eyes to turn to look at the voice, there stood behind me Klaus Mikaelson, it's been a while since we've had a full conversation normally we talk about our kid.
" Thank you" I whispered trying not to wake the babies. He walked into the room a little more as he looked over my shoulder looking at his son.
" We created that" he pointed. " Yeah," I said softly with a proud smile on my face. " Millie.."
"Yes?" I asked confused raising an eyebrow.
" Do.. do you still care for me and Elijah?" He asked cautiously.
" What do you mean of course I care for you why wouldn't I?" I whispered. " I mean do you still love us like you did before" he said.
"Oh" I blurted I didn't know how to respond, yeah I love them but is it the same as before? I don't think it is, what I have for Kol is different from what I had with these two.
He sighed running a hand through his thick curls, " It's hard to believe that you've fallen for someone else. I badly wanted to do right by you the second I found out you were alive, I thought I was getting a second chance to finally make things right so you would come back. I know I've done some messed up things. I just wanted you back in my arms, under my care, under my roof, loving me as I love you back. But I keep breaking your trust and for that I'm sorry, you've fallen for another I can see it in your eyes. He makes you happy, I see the slight sparkle in them. Just know that I'll be here and I will always love you" he told me.
