Prologue

Paris, year 2024.

Elites have always existed, since societies with classes were established they have existed. Leading from the top, they always try to secure and protect their status and wealth, from healthy to the most twisted ways. They will always want to stay where they are. Alphonse Brienne, an alpha and successful businessman who keeps a low profile, is one of those who people that does what is necessary for his fortune, even if it affects those around him, just as he did with his only son, Alexander.

Staying under the shadow of his father, Alexander was an omega who never knew what it was to be loved in what should be a home, looking for affection in places and people he shouldn't, which leaded to be nicknamed *the fierce*, although he doesn't know whether to interpret it as a compliment or as offense.

But, after a deal that his father made with other member of the élite, he met Arthur Harcourt, an alpha who would be his fiance without even knowing him.

This alpha, someone polite and respectful, from a loving and very wealthy family, would see something in Alexander that captivated him the moment he saw him. Arthur wanted to know what was happening to that Omega, why he was so different from how the rumors described him, why he seemed scared of his father's presence when they should have a good familiar relationship.

And he really liked something about that boy.

So he decided to get to know him to be able to help him and genuinely know more about him, in addition to... Unintentionally courting him.
