Main Characters:
Christine Hermer.
Description:
An upcoming video game developer in the 90s who struggles to be anything but mediocre. For the past 2 years, she's been working at OptiSoft, a game and media company. She's 22, and lives in a small home with only a cat in Los Angeles, California.
(Christine is 5'6 with long black hair, peach skin with a slight tan, brown freckles across the face, blue eyes, black rounded glasses, pointy button nose, and a beige sweater with a black jacket over it. She sometimes paints her nails black, there's a gold ring on her middle finger, wearing slightly baggy faded blue jeans, and white shoes with black outsoles.)
G.B.
Description:
A character fueled by AI, created by Christine Hermer, and the main "protagonist" of his game, "Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins". He is a Mario that gained sentience some time after she experimented with his cartridge.
(Golden Boy form is 5'3, looks exactly like the original Mario with a few notable differences. His bunny ears are the most prominent difference. No emblem with an "M" on his hat, he's slightly taller than Mario, and he is displayed in white, black, and shades of green.)
(Greater Beast form is derived from Golden Boy, and appears a lot more malicious. All shades of green in him have now faded to a simple monochrome palette, his entire appearance looks organic. His ears are now molded to his hat, his eyes have burned into his face, and he's grown a foot taller. )
(The Hallucination form is the Greater Beast form with some notable differences. He is completely realistic, and his shoes are now black. This form will appear if GB renders himself into the real world, either as a hallucination, or himself.)
(Golden Boy)
(Greater Beast)
(Hallucination)
Final Notes:
This story will be source material-accurate, meaning it will be told almost exactly how the original story is. However, considering this is fanmade and a rewrite, there will be notable differences that separate it from the original. That being said, enjoy your read. :)
