A few months go by, making seem as if time was like water slipping through your hands. Satoru and Suguru's friendship blossomed like a small bud emerging into a beautiful flower. The two of the hung out a lot as if it was going to be the end of the world. They shared many new adventures together over these past months, and crafted many new memories that stayed in each others' hearts. The fall time's crisp and warmth radiates, dawning over the small café by the local pool. A gorgeous young man with white hair enters the shop, coming back from swimming practice. His glowing blue diamond eyes spot another young man with black hair in a bun, lavender eyes meeting his never ending blue ones. "Sugu!" Satoru calls out from near the entrance. "Satoru." Suguru calls out, smiling and waving to what felt like years of being Satoru's best friend. Satoru runs up to his best friend, but remembers there's a line behind him, so he went in the back of the line before anyone gets mad at him. When it was eventually Satoru's turn, He immediately hugged Suguru, somehow extending his arms to reach him from the barrier in between them. When Satoru calmed down, Geto put on his professional work face and asked him, "Would you like your usual?" Satoru smiled cheekily. "Of course I would!" Suguru tried to keep his face stoic, but it was a bit hard for him. "Okay, that would be $7.29." Satoru would've usually paid with his debit card, but he felt generous today and gave him a $20 instead. Satoru went closer to him whispering, "Put $7.30 in there and keep the rest for yourself." Suguru looked at him, thankful for his generosity but also a bit dazed by his stupidity for letting him keep the rest of money. "Are you sure?" Suguru asked, not sure if it was right to take Satoru's money. "Of course it's fine, I insist." Suguru realized at that moment that it wasn't stupidity, it was Satoru making him feel valuable that he had pay $12.71 (Including the extra cent) more. "Thanks for the money, Satoru." Satoru smiled, happy his friend accepted his way of showing his affection for his best friend. "Wanna come over to my place again after you're finished work?" Suguru nodded. "Sure." Satoru gave a small smile, before walking to a table nearby to sit down and wait for his order. His order eventually came, after waiting for 4 minutes. "Order for Satoru Gojo." Suguru called out. Satoru jumped out of his seat and picked up his order. "Thanks, Suguru. Also, please for the love of bread, don't say that. You can be casual around me y'know." Suguru sighed. "I know you're my best friend and all, but I need to stay professional at work. Plus, I'll see you at your house soon." Satoru pouted a bit. "Fine, but come as soon as possible!" Suguru nodded and waved Satoru off. "Will do." Satoru smiled, before walking out of the store, eating his new, fresh, piece of bread.
Satoru took his car home, coming to Shoko tutoring one of her clients again. This time it was Yuta and Maki. "Hey there Okkotsu and Zenin!" Gojo said in his usual, plaster voice. Maki rolled her eyes, while Yuta politely greeted Gojo. "Hello, Gojo-san. It's nice to see you again." Gojo laughed. "There's no need to be like that! You're only 17, live a little." Maki smirked. "Oh, he is living like a 17 year old. Just not around his elders." Gojo almost fell to the floor, hearing the word elder. He felt like a 70 year old man at that moment. "E-Elder? I-I'm only 26..." Maki laughed slyly. "26 is the new 48 these days." Gojo was so emotionally damaged, he fell on the floor, almost crying, not wanting to face the fact that he's extremely old in this generation. "Gen Z kids these days." Gojo said defeated, trying to ignore the fact he was a millennial. "Go, Satoru. Let me teach the kids, and then you can come back after the session is over." Satoru sighed, still upset by how old he is. Meanwhile, Shoko was teaching Yuta and Maki. Recently, there's been some tension between Yuta and Maki. Shoko realized this, since the last time she taught them. They always arrive together at Shoko's house. She's also been noticing they're always distracted by each other, due to how often they look at one another. Shoko at first, thought not much of it. Over time, she's been suspecting that Yuta and Maki either like each other and they just don't know it, or they're secretly dating. Shoko wasn't sure which one it was, but all she knew was that this was young love, something she could never experience because she didn't have any of those sort of feelings. Alas, she continued teaching the two of them, hoping they would focus on math. Eventually, the session was over, Yuta and Maki both going home together. "Bye Ieiri-sensei, thank you for having us." Yuta said politely, being a goody two-shoes. "Goodbye Yuta-san and Maki-san, see you online or in person." The two of them headed out, as Shoko cleared up the area to have a smoking break to relieve her stress. She knew it wasn't the healthiest way to do so, but she couldn't find any other method that could console her.
