Of course in South America, it is mostly hot due to its climate. Especially if you're in the jungle. Everyone overheated easily, even Nancy, due to her raincoat. Xavier helps her out by doing some cooling off. And that was by splashing some water on it.
Miranda felt the pressure of that too, as they stopped for breaks in between. And it was a very long walk through the continent. Everyone especially rested and had to carry each other too throughout each day and night. With most of that being from Craig giving Sewer Queen or Wildernessa piggyback rides, Xavier did the same for Maya and Nessie too.
That wasn't long until they reached the tip of the continent. There, they dipped themselves in water and went around to look for a vessel of the next continent.
