Yuuki awoke to the soft light of dawn filtering through the curtains, her body heavy with the weight of last night's memories. The pain of her brother's loss was still fresh, a raw wound that refused to heal. She lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, feeling the numbness that had settled over her heart.

Nanami, Torazo, and Takano had stayed by her side throughout the night, their presence a silent comfort. Torazo, ever the leader, had taken charge, ensuring that Yuuki had everything she needed. Nanami had whispered soothing words, while Takano had kept a watchful eye on the door, as if guarding her from further harm.

Despite their efforts, Yuuki felt a deep emptiness inside. She closed her eyes, trying to block out the memories, but they came rushing back—her brother's final moments, the helplessness she had felt, and the overwhelming grief that had followed.

As she lay there, a different memory surfaced. Usagi's smiling face, full of warmth and hope. The image was like a lifeline, pulling her out of the darkness. Yuuki remembered how Usagi had always been there for her, a constant source of strength and comfort.

With a shaky breath, Yuuki forced herself to sit up. She couldn't let herself be consumed by her grief. Usagi needed her, and she couldn't let her friend face this alone. The thought gave her the strength to push through the numbness and find her resolve.

"Thank you," she whispered to Nanami, Torazo, and Takano, her voice barely audible. "I need to be there for Usa-chan."

Torazo nodded, his eyes filled with understanding. "We'll be with you every step of the way," he promised.

With their support, Yuuki found the courage to face the day, determined to be the friend Usagi needed, just as Usagi had always been for her.

"I need to get up, put my school uniform on, and hopefully catch up to Usa-chan..." She stands up with help from Nanami.

"But you should get some food before that," Torazo spoke gently.

"No worries! I'll go cook something up fast," Takano exclaimed rushing out of the bedroom before Yuuki could argue.

She pouted but couldn't help but smile at how much she loved her dear friends who vowed to be her loyal protectors like Venus, Mercury, Mars, and Jupital are towards Usagi. Nanami led her to the kitchen table, and gently sat her down at the table as Takano happily placed a plate with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Yuuki smiled and thanked Takano, she happily ate the sandwich, and after she finished Torazo took the empty plate telling her to go to school.

"I'll be walking halfway with you, Yuuki-chan. Since my job is at the Elementary School." Nanami smiles at her.

Yuuki nodded, walked back into her room got changed into her school uniform, grabbed her school bag, and slipped her shoes on. The two started walking in silence, there were no words said to one another until it was the spot where Nanami said goodbye to Yuuki. Nanami went on his way to the Elementary school, while Yuuki continued forward across the street eyes perked up seeing Usagi she picked up speed calling her name.

"Usa-chan!" Yuuki caught up to Usagi's side walking beside her. She smiled about to open her mouth when she noticed her eyes...they looked dull, she wasn't all there like how she felt earlier before she snapped out of it thanks to Usagi. "Usa-chan...?"
