You and gracie have had a very casual relationship for the past month. It was harmless flirting and sleeping together. At least to her it was harmless. You really liked her but agreed to keep it casual. Her parents just thought yall were actually dating and her mom took a liking to you. She really thinks you are the one for her daughter. If only her daughter thought that way too. At times it feels like she does, but that's when you guys are alone. You don't know if you end this casual relationship or tell her how you actually feel and let her make the choice.

You: hey can we meet up?

Gracie: sure, come over

You drive to her house while trying to figure out what to say. You can't keep going on like this and you need to tell her. You finally make it to her house and she opens the door for you.

"Hey y/n!"

"Hey gracie" You reply quietly

"What's wrong?"

"It's nothing, I just come over to visit" she moves closer to you. You know what she's thinking you came over for but you really aren't in the mood.

"I can take you to my room, just say the words" she waits for you to say something but you don't. "OK y/n what's bothering you?"

"Why would you even care, it's not like we're together anyway." A flash of hurt crosses her face and it almost makes you feel guilty

"Well y-yeah I know but I still care about you"

"Do you?"

"Of course I do y/n"

"How? How can you say you care when I'm just your little fuck buddy. I've made it painfully clear that I want you as more than a friend, more than someone you can hookup with whenever you feel like. You've never shown me you cared once"

"Y/n-"

"No, I'm done, you don't get to tell me what i can and can't do anymore"

"Y/n"

"What the hell do you want"

She looks at you in disbelief and a hint of love? Before you can question anything about her expression she grabs your face and kisses you. You kiss her back like you've done so many times, but this time you think it feels real. You keep your guard up until you both pull away and let her speak.

"Y/n, i like you too, I thought you'd just saw me as a hookup or wouldn't want me after how I've been acting. Why do you think I've let my parents think we're dating all this time. I wanted it to be real in someone's life, if it wasn't true in mine."

"Wait, so you like me too, it's not all in my head"

Gracie just smiles and presses her forehead to yours, "nope, it's not just you"
