Author's POV:

They went to the office and opened the door. Everyone looked at her with side eyes when they came to know that she is his new personal assistant. The ex-PA was present there too.

"Ew. Look at her, why did he chose her to be his new PA? I'm way better than her, in all. What did she do to him?" The Ex-PA whispered to her friend.

MAHI'S POV:

I've been taunted and been talked behind my back like this everytime so this was usual to me. But it hurts. It really does. I always try being kind to them but, this is what I get in return.. 

I went to him to his cabin ignoring those girls. I knocked the door.

"May I-" I asked but got interrupted by him.

"Yes, you may." He said, without looking at me, checking his documents sitting on his chair.

I got inside and zoned out standing infront of him thinking about the people when I heard a loud thud.

"What happened? What are you thinking?" He said putting the documents down.

"Oh, nothing, sir." I said.

"Okay then. Here are the documents, There is a meeting with the Kushwaha's so check the timing and the details and inform me, Mrs. Mahi." He said with a cold firm tone.

"Alrighty, sir." I replied taking the documents from his hand and turning back to go out.

"Where do you think you're going?" He stood up and came to me as he asked.

"At my workplace?" I replied with a confused tone.

"Where? This is your workplace in my cabin. You will stay here and work." He said moving back and leaning against the table beside his place.

I nodded as I went to my new workplace and sat on the chair with my documents. He also sat on his chair and worked on his laptop.

After some time, I got up and told him the details of the meeting with the Kushwaha's.

"And the timing is 2:00PM TO 3:00PM. That was the details.." I smiled a little as I completed.

"Alright, Thank you, Mahi, I mean.." He continued but I interrupted him.

"Mrs. Mahi." We both said, in sync, which made me giggle.

"That wasn't funny." He said, rolling his eyes, looking at me giggling trying to hold his smile only to fail. 

"Okay, maybe, it is, just a little bit though." He smiled before turning back to his unfazed demeanor.

-Time skip-

After some time, the CEO of the Kushwaha's, Aryan Kushwaha with his younger brother, Shaurya Kushwaha. They greeted each other and they sat down, but their Bodyguards were still stood and Mahi too, beside Rishi. Without any casual talks, Rishi started talking about the main business.

"So, shall we start, Mr. Kushwaha?" Rishi said looking at Aryan, raising an eyebrow.

"Sure." Aryan replied.

After that, they were just talking about business and stuff when I heard him calling my name.

"Mrs. Mahi, you may represent your presentation." He said looking between me and the papers.

"Yes, sir." I smiled and begun doing the presentation.

"Hello, Mr. Kushwaha's. This is Mahi Chaudhary. Our company has been looking forward to work with....." and it continued.

I glanced at everyone while showing them the diagrams and projects to maintain a good impression.

But then I noticed Rishi staring at Shaurya with a death stare and when I looked at Shaurya, who was busy looking at me and grinning and flirting with his dirty actions which made me uncomfortable.

Everytime I looked at Shaurya, he would do bad actions. So I tried not to look at him, not even once.

I closed my eyes and finished the project with a forced smile. Everyone applauded for me.

"You're damn good, Mahi." Shaurya said, winking at me.

I nodded as I gulped down in disgust.

"Mrs. Mahi." Rishi said with a cold harsh tone.

"Basically, the same thing." Shaurya chuckled.

"No, it's not. Its Mrs. Mahi." Rishi said with an intense look in his eyes glaring at Shaurya.

"Y-Yeah. Mrs. Mahi. Right." Shaurya chuckled in embarrassment.

"I'm so done with you, Shaurya. Stop it."
Aryan whispered to Shaurya, loud enough for us to hear.

"I'm sorry. He's like that sometimes. Anyways, we really liked the presentation and the offer and we are here to do the deal."
Aryan smiled assuring Rishi.

"If he's like that, then take him to the doctor immediately. Well, earlier I was to do the deal but now, I don't think we will make it anymore." He said clicking his pen. 

"What?" Me, Aryan and Shaurya said at the same time.

"What? We won't make the deal anymore, Mr. Kushwaha. Thank you for your time." Rishi smiled darkly ending the conversation and stood up.
