*Niall's Point Of View:
I can't wait for tonight; it's going to be amazing. I have to pick Lex up at 5:45 because the movie starts at six. We're going to see TED. I heard it's hilarious, and I'd do anything to see her laugh. Then I'm taking her to a restaurant called Olive Garden. I hope she likes Italian.
Shit, it's 5:40; I better go pick her up. She told me to pick her up from Vicki's and that's what I did. But when she opened the door, I just had to stop and stare. She was wearing a white mini skirt and a green shirt that said, 'I'm not Irish, but kiss me and you might get lucky'. I just might have to do that. But she looked absolutely stunning. Then she started to blush and look at the ground so I lifted up her chin and told her, "You look so beautiful." Which caused her to blush even more and strike a smile. Oh, that smile.
Then she finally said, "Thanks. So what movie are we going to see?"
"It's a surprise."
"Fine."
We pulled up to the movie theater and went inside. When we were at the counter to buy the tickets, I gave her some money and told her to buy some popcorn, drinks, and candy if she wanted any. Then I bought two tickets to see TED.
I met her at the spot where you put the butter on the popcorn, and saw that she got a large bag of popcorn, a large coke, and a bag of mini twix. I like her choice, and I like how she doesn't mind sharing a drink.
We walked to the right showing and she saw what movie we were seeing, and she said, "TED? I wanted to see this movie so bad!" Then she gave me a quick kiss on the cheek.
We picked our seats in the last row of the room, right beneath the projector. We were watching the movie, and then we both reached into the bag of popcorn. Our hands touched lightly, and we held it there for a second, until she pulled it back, blushed slightly, and smiled. I looked her in the eyes, and kissed her.
She pulled back, and said, "I want to watch the movie, but maybe after dinner..."
"Okay," I said simply. Then I pulled that whole yawn and arm around her shoulder thing. She just looked at me with those brown eyes, and smiled.
*Lex's Point Of View:
The movie was hilarious! I loved it. Now we're in a cab going to get food.
We were holding hands on the way there. He wouldn't tell me where there was, though. Then we pulled up in front of Olive Garden and I said, "I love Italian!"
"Good, because so do I," he said.
We went up to the front desk and Niall said, "Reservations for Horan."
"I'm sorry, there are no reservations under that name," the lady at the desk said.
"What? I made them just this morning!" he responded.
"Niall, it's okay. We can go somewhere else. It's not a big deal," I told him.
"Wait! Niall Horan? Like THE Niall Horan from One Direction?" the lady exclaimed.
"Yeah..." Niall started.
"Well, let me see if there are any tables available," she said.
"Wow, must be nice to be famous," I said to Niall.
"eh, kind of, but it does have its perks," he chuckled.
We sat down, and were looking at the menu, when a teenage girl came up to our table.
She asked, "You're Niall Horan! Can I have a picture with you?"
"Sorry, I'm on a date, but I'll give you an autograph. How's that?" Niall told the girl.
"Sure," she said, glaring at me. And when Niall gave her the autograph, she walked away.
"Sorry about that," he said to me.
"It's okay, but you could've taken a picture with her," I said.
"Well, I'm on a date with a girl I really like, and I don't want any distractions. No matter how much I love my fans," he told me.
He just said he really likes me! Yay! "Well, thank you, and I really like you too," I told him, smiling.
We ordered a bunch of food, and ate all of it. You know how Niall likes to eat.
Then when the waitress came back with the bill, I grabbed it and started pulling out my wallet.
Niall asked, "What are you doing?"
"Well, you got the movie, so I'll get the dinner," I explained.
"Um, I don't think so. A girl should never have to pay on a date."
"Really, it's no problem."
"Not going to happen," he insisted, giving the waitress the money.
"Well if you insist," I chuckled.
Then he took my hand and led me out of the resaurant. He is sooo sweet!
"How about a stroll through the park?" Niall suggested.
"Sure," I replied, "Sinnissippi is a nice one."
"To Sinnissippi Park," he told the cab driver.
*Niall's Point Of View:
We arrived at the park, and strolled down the bike path.
There was this little bridge thing and we sat on it to overlook the river. I think Lex said it was the Rock River. But it definitely looked beautiful under the moonlight, and so did Lex.
She looked at me with those big brown eyes and I couldn't help but to stare into them. Then I leaned foward and closed my eyes, and she did the same.
It was a beautiful kiss that lasted for quite awhile. But it was getting late and I had to get her home, so I said, "We should probably get going; I don't want your family to get worried."
"Well, I don't think that should be a problem, since I'm staying at Vicki's again. But okay," she replied, smiling.
"Well, alrighty then," I said, also smiling.
We were in another cab, when we stopped in front of Vicki's house. I hopped out so I could open Lex's door for her. After I did, I took her hand and helped her out.
We walked up to the doorstep, hand-in-hand. And then I said, "I had a great time."
"Me too, definitely."
"Well, goodnight," I said before I planted a soft kiss on her lips.
"Night," she said with a smile, after we pulled back. Then she walked inside with a wave.
That date was fantastic. With hopefully more to come.
*Lex's Point Of View:
Well, tonight was absolutely lovely. That was the best first date ever! Not to mention my only first date, but that one could not be topped! I must say, though, I was a little disappointed that he didn't ask me to be his girlfriend.
