Only Time Will Tell

Chapter 10

*Carmen's Point Of View:

I can't wait to hang out with Liam! Alone!

I arrived at his hotel door with horror films for a movie marathon.

When he opened the door, he greeted me with a hug.

We went to the bed and sat down in silence. Then, he got up and put in one of the movies.

He came back to the bed after pushing play. He held my hand, and had his other arm around me. A really scary part came on and I buried my face in his chest.

Then when he said, "It's over, hun," I lifted my head slightly and looked him in the eyes. 

What happened next was absolutely amazing! He tilted his head down and kissed me.

*Liam's Point Of View:

We were making out, when all of a sudden I hear, "Liam! Babe, I'm dancing for a charity around here and I remembered your room num—"

The voice stopped, the voice I knew to be Danielle's, as soon as she saw Carmen and me. Shit!

"What the hell, Li?" she screamed, almost in tears.

"Dani, it's not what it looks like!" I yelled back.

"It's exactly what it looks like," Carmen said blandly.

"I can tell! Liam, we are through!" Danielle screamed again, while leaving.

"Wait, Danielle! Wait!" I yelled, getting up to go after her.

"Don't follow me. I don't want to talk to you," she yelled, not looking back.

Then I stopped, went back to the room, and face-planted into the bed.

"It's okay, Liam. Now we can be together," Carmen said, while rubbing my back. 

"No, Carmen. It won't be okay. You helped me ruin the best relationship of my life!"

"It'll be okay, because I really want to be with you."

"Well, Carmen, right now, I don't want to be with you. So just leave!"

Then she left and I started to cry heavily into my pillow.

*Carmen's Point Of View:

He's finally done with his girlfriend, and he chooses now that he doesn't want to be with me? What the hell? That's so dumb!
