It was currently eight in the evening and they all were seated in the dining room. Shreya had initially planned dinner in the backyard, but since it started raining lightly, they chose to have dinner indoors.

Siddharth on the head chair with Shreya on his immediate left, Yuvraj on Siddharth's right and diagonally across Shreya, Naira sat next to Yuvraj and in her lap sat Veer, which caused Yuvraj more irritation with a scowl present on his face.
Veer was quietly sitting on her lap as she fed him his dinner, playing with her hairs softly.
Yuvraj tried taking him in his lap, but this boy vehemently cried. Naira couldn't stand seeing her favourite boy cry, so she insisted on feeding him.
Since she came, he's been stuck to her like a Koala bear, refusing to even get down.
She helped him in coloring, played legos and blocks with him, he even dragged her to show his room. In short, Viransh is the happiest around Naira.
Shreya also returned Naira's belonging to her. Naira took that with a flushed smile, though Shreya didn't notice much as she's aware of Yuvraj's overbearing tendencies.
"Sach mei Naira, he's stuck to you like a magnet", Shreya commented, loving this version of Viransh. Don't get her wrong, she loves when her child gets clingy with her, but aside from their family, Naira is the first he really is attached to. So she's happy.

"Mera beta ek baar bhi mere paas nahi aaya jabse Naira ko dekha hai, progress", Siddharth added, enthusiastic about a seeing a new change in his son.

Yuvraj grunted slowly, not at all loving this change in his nephew.
"I don't mind at all. I love kids, and he's just so adorable", she smiled at them while feeding Viransh. She was feeding Veer, and Yuvraj was feeding her.
Yuvraj came closer and whispered in her ear, "itne hi bacche pasand hai toh mujhe batao, mei dene ko taiyaar ho"
(If you like kids so much then tell me, I'm ready to give you)
Naira choked on air after hearing him. She coughed loudly.
Yuvraj immediately patted her back and made her drink a glass of water.
"What happened? Are you okay?", Shreya asked her, concerned.
She glared at Yuvraj before answering, "yes, I'm sorry"
She wiped Viransh's face with a tissue as soon as he was done. He dozed off five minutes later in her lap.
Shreya got up and took Veer in her arms. She then went towards his bedroom to lay him down. Putting two pillows on either side of him, she covered him with his favourite blanket. Kissing his forehead and turning the baby monitor on, she closed the door and went out.
