Night

I tip toe to my room and watch Xander still sleeping, his messy hair falling to his closed eyes. Gosh I love when he sleeps. But I have to wake him up.

Since I know he a heavy sleeper, I jump on top of him and I press my lips to his, putting my hands to his chest, feeling his heartbeat. It's something he always does when we kiss. Makes sure I feel his heartbeat. He groans and finally flutters his eyes open, "what?"

I pout and roll off of him, pinching his cheek, "get up, do you know what day it is today?"

"No?" He blinks then he goes back to sleep but I slap him on his chest and he snaps up. I laugh and he runs his hand through his hair, "it's not your birthday, so what is it?"

"It's the day we came to Moscow idiot," I hmph and get off of the bed.

He grabs my arm, pulling me back to him, I roll me eyes and he grins, "happy anniversary."

"You forgot," I mumble.

"Well I was half asleep," he shrugs.

"Still, all you thought about was my birthday," I whine.

"Well yeah, that's the day my heartbeat was born, I'll remember it even if I loose memory," he kisses my neck.

I giggle, "you always find your way with me."

"No I just can't have you frowning at me the whole day," he says.

"Okay, get up, I made breakfast," I smile, trying to pull him up. He groans again but he finally gets up.

We didn't officially live in the beach house until six months ago when we got married. Before that, this was a place where we would go after every break and to spend time alone. Now we actually live here. Though Eric, Xander's dad was hating the idea of this. He wanted Xander in Solace, working for Moore's security but Xander turned him down. He turned him down to be with me and Xander never does that. He would never say no to his father.

We eat breakfast and just as we were planning what we should do together, the door knocks. Me and Xander look at one another confused and Xander goes to open the door.

"Mr Wilson?"

I turn and see my dad stepping in, looking at me with frustration. I get up, "dad? What a surprise."

"Sorry, I thought we should talk in person about this," he starts.

"Oh sure!" I smile, grabbing him a seat, he sits down and Xander gives us space, going back into the room. "What's up?"

"You have a good place here," he looks around, his face showing something deep. It makes me worried.

"Dad, what is it?" I place my hand on top of his.

"Its your brother," he starts, "he's backing down on the casino."

My eyes widen. I knew this would happen but I didn't know this early.

"Night, I can't trust anyone to take over except for my children, will you be able to do it? Can I give you the casino? Or give it to Xander, one of you guys?"

I gulp, its the first time my dad had asked of me something. "I don't know, I'll have to ask Xander."

"Call him," he tells me.

I nod and I get up, going to the room. Xander looks at me confused, "my dad wants to speak to you."

We sit down on the table, Xander not knowing how to answer. Then he looks at me giving me a smile, "if Night wants to then I don't mind, but if she doesn't, then I won't force her or let anyone else."
