That night, Chloe woke up. The bed was so rough that she flat out COULD NOT SLEEP. She laid there, twisting and turning for what felt like forever, but after she decided it was hopeless, she sat up.
When she did, she realized Red was in her room, leaning against the wall and lost in thought.
'What are you doing here?', Chloe growled.
'I wanted to talk to you'.
'Yeah, well, I don't wanna talk to you'.
'Please, it's important'.
'Well then go talk to someone else about it'. She covered herself up with her blanket and waited patiently until Red got the memo, and left.
Who does she think she is?, Chloe thought to herself. The girl sentenced her mom to death and now she was trying to talk to her like they were friends or something?!
After turning around for a while, Uma came knocking on her door.
'GO AWAY!'.
'This is my ship, Sparky'.
She walked in, and giggled at Chloe trying to fall asleep.
'What?'.
'You've never actually BEEN on a ship before, have you?'.
'No, not really. I spent most of my life in the castle'.
'You'll get used to it'.
'Okay . . . . '.
'Just wanted to make sure you guys were alright. I'm the adult here, and that automatically means that I'm responsible if you two kill each other. The Queen of Hearts is already hunting us down, I don't need Cinderella hunting us down too'.
'Can I go back to sleep now?'.
'Yeesh. Someone's feisty'.
Uma left Chloe alone to think about what she said, but Chloe was more interested in getting a good night's sleep 😴

'WAKE UP SPARKY!', Red screamed, as she dumped a bucket of water all over Chloe's face.
She sat up, and screamed, as Red laughed at her. 'What's wrong? The princess can't handle a little splash?'.
'What's your problem?'.
'What's your problem?'.
'What are you two arguing about NOW?!', Uma screamed as she barged in.
The two stopped talking as Uma gave them the "get-the-hell-out-before-I-kill-you" glare.
Red had been given that glare before so she immediately left, but since Chloe had never seen it before, she was ignorant, and Red had to grab her hand and drag her out of there.
Uma stared at them in disapproval as they left, before sighing. 'Starting to think the Queen's prison was a better option than THIS'.

Only in the first {okay, maybe SECOND} day of their journey, the whole ship had turned into a GLARE triangle. Similar to a love triangle, but instead, it was all GLARES.
Chloe was always glaring at Red, Red was always glaring at Chloe, and Uma was always glaring at the BOTH OF THEM.
It was exhausting to her, having to babysit two obnoxious 16-year-olds who were CONSTANTLY giving her a migraine.
