"Lizzie! Lizzie, this is Josh!" Rachel squealed, dragging her boyfriend over to her friend.
Lizzie turned away from her own partner to face her best friend who looked extremely happy.
Josh Andrés Rivera was being practically manhandled by the tiny woman, grinning politely at Lizzie. "Hi, good to meet you. I'm a big fan."
"You too. Thank you, so much." She responded, smiling up at him and offering her hand while subtly nudging Marcus to do the same.
Marcus didn't seem to have much of an issue with Josh. He was in a relationship and wasn't the main character of the movie that every woman on Earth was fanning themselves over.
He didn't notice said main character walking over.
Tom Blyth looked good. The blond hair he had for the movie was gone, leaving Lizzie's first real life impression of him a bit surprised. He was in a white suit with his naturally brown hair, big blue eyes finding hers and widening.
He was completely star struck.
Elizabeth Monroe used to irritate him. One day when she was 14, she suddenly became a musical sensation. When he was 14, he was in a shitty secondary school being taught drama by somebody who failed to be a star themselves while he was desperate to be famous.
He lightened up a bit when he got into Juilliard. It didn't seem like she was just some lucky kid anymore. It got through his temporary thick skull that she worked and used music as a way to convey her loneliness as a child — he ended up admiring her, not caring that his friends called him gay for appreciating her talent.
Like hell he was gay because that woman was gorgeous.
