I watched in the corner as Kamelle blew out her 18th birthday candles. The entire pack cheered and I glared at her defined face. I hated everything about my sister. Her perfect body. Her bouncy golden brown hair. Her nice soft tan. Her pouty full lips. I hated everything.
Kam was the perfect child. She was great at everything. Drawing, sports, singing. You name it and she can to do it.
I on the other hand stood by myself. A lone wolf in every since of the word. You see she isn't really my sister. She may be by papers of adoption, but that is where I cut the line. I'm nothing like her.
My hair is Raven black, it turns purple or blue in the sun, Which is where I got my name I guess. My skin is pale, almost deadly pale. My eyes are so dark blue some say its purple or black, like my hair. Most of all I don't play well with others. I never have.
I watched as my sister smiled around the giant kitchen of the pack house. She was looking for the one she was paired with I assume. Her mate, whoever he is, was getting the perfect package. Nice, smart, funny, and absolutely beautiful.
Kam looked around until her eyes landed on me. She smiled and started walking towards the corner I was tucked in.
I slowly backed into the corner, shielding myself from her sparkling blue eyes just as another pack member greeted her. She frowned when I disappeared into the shadows and looked around for me. All of a sudden I saw her eyes dilate and her nose flare. She quickly turned around and and spotted her mate, Beta Jackson Shire. They quickly embraced each other with a kiss. The rest of the pack cheered in approval of the newly discovered mates.
I sneered at the pack from my dark corner. Blending into the shadows, I made my silent retreat to my room.
Flopping onto my comfortable bed, I stared at the glow stars I put on the ceiling ages ago. Quickly growing bored I reached under my bed for my violin case. I unclasped the case and took out my masterpiece.
My violin was dyed black and had silver carved into the dark wood, swirling around on the base. The silver was real. So was the silver tipped arrows I made to go with the cross bow/violin. And the silver tipped arrows I made was intended to take down this pack one at a time. The Alpha will be the last to go.
Mommy and I were going down a dark road. Rain was pouring down, shielding most of the world from us.
"Mommy where are we going?" I asked.
"Your going to Uncle Chris's house."she said"I have to go somewhere for a while." She explained, she turned around and smiled at me. "Its okay I'll be back.
As she turned around I saw a figure running towards the car. My eyes widened in shock and I yelled "Mommy!"
Mommy turned to late and the figure used it's strong body to push us of the road. We tumbled and rolled to a stop in a ditch. Mommy was struggling her seat belt. Blood was coming from her fore head. She looked up when she heard me whimper in pain.
"Baby, remember your cassette player. Mommy loves you." Suddenly her door was ripped from the hinges and she was pulled out the car, leaving only traces of blood behind.
I sat there in shock and then started crying. Clutching my cassette player, the only thing I have left of my mommy, I cried in the backseat of my broken car.
I heard crunching noises out side and tried my best to stop crying. For all I knew it could have been the thing that took mommy. My door was pulled off of the car and a man appeared at the opening.
"Let me help you." He said in a deep voice. He held out his hand for me to take. I reached out nervously and took his hand. Still clutching my cassette in the other. He pulled me out quickly and held on to me. Hugging me to his tight chest. I held on to my cassette even tighter.
"Its okay I can help you". He moved my head by my chin gently so I could see his face. Horrified I screamed, all around his mouth was blood.
He cursed himself and placed me on the ground to wipe his face. It was to late, I already saw the blood and my vision went black.
