Chap 4

Prodigy

Its been three days since I was in the hospital. I'm hanging out with Ray and Roc again.

"You guys seriously cried over me?" They nodded and I noticed Star, Beauty, and Babydoll. I waved at them and they came over and hugged me.

I hugged them back and smiled at Babydoll. Star and Beauty smiled at us then started talking to Ray and Roc.

"I'm glad to see that your okay, Prod" I smiled walking with Babydoll. "Trust me I'm happy i'm okay too but I have a slight problem.."

She looks at me worried. "Does this have to do with Ray and Prince?" I nodded and she sighs.

"I've decided on who I really want but I think Prince is getting to my head again..." She nods her head. "So you chose Ray but Prince is still on your mind" I sighed, "No, I really love Ray but I'm not ready to tell them yet....I just don't think its the right time to tell them, ya kno" She nods her head in understanding.

"I understand completely, Prod. I won't say a word about it" I kissed her cheek then hugged her. We joined back with the others.

"Ray, do you wanna go somewhere alone?" Star asks him. "No Star....I don't. Why can't you get it into that thick skull of yours? I don't want you, okay?"

"But Ray...." I tensed up as Star was trying to flirt with Ray. I tried my best not to go over and beat her ass. Ray looked at me and saw how tense I was, "I said no star, i'm not gonna go anywhere with you." He walks over to me and smiles, "Calm down, your more important okay" he whispered.

I nodded, "Okay Ray" Babydoll looked at me worried. "Wanna go to the dance studio?" He asks then I nodded, "Sure" We walked away from the others.

Roc

We were enjoying our day until Star tried flirting with Ray. Prod was tensing up and about ready to snatch Star's hair off. I was surprised at Prod refraining from hurting Star.

"Did you see what just happened, Beauty?" She looked at me just as confused as me. "If you mean Prod not pummeling Star and then leaving with Ray then hell yea I noticed"

Prince looked at Babydoll, but she was upset at him for what he did to Prod. She just slapped him and left with Beauty and Star. He was holding his cheek and I could see in his eyes he was angry but regretful.

"You did kinda deserve it though, Prince" He sighed, "I guess but why did she have to hit me so hard..." I looked at him deadpanned, "Again, you deserved it" I sighed and looked at my phone seeing a missed call from Demisha.

I walked away from him calling Demisha. She was upset so I stayed on the phone with her and calmed her down.

Princeton

Okay, I get what I did was wrong but damn that really hurt. I walked around for abit just to clear my mind off of Prodigy. Yea, I grew feelings for him like I thought I wouldn't. The feelings still haven't gone away.

I looked around and saw couples hand in hand or enjoying each others company. I noticed a girl by herself so I went over and talked to her. "Hey" I say looking at her. She looks up at me, "Hey, aren't you a friend of my brother?" I looked at her confused, "That depends on who your brother is" She smiled, "Craig Crippen" I looked at her shocked, her brother was my current crush but I just decided to let that go.

"Mind telling me your name since your my friend's sister?" She giggled abit, "Crystelle Crippen" I smiled, "Beautiful name for a beautiful girl." Isat and talked with her for what seemed like hours.

Prodigy

I was walking to the dance studio with Ray and I heard footsteps behind us trying to catch up. I looked back and saw Babydoll, Star, and Beauty so I tapped Ray causing him to stop and look back too. The girls caught up and caught their breathe, "Where you guys headed?" Star asks curiously.

"Dance studio" Ray answers not really all that happy. Star looks at Ray all seductive and it takes everything in me not to snatch that weave off her head. The bitch is too thirsty for my liking and I guess Babydoll noticed cause she smacked Star in the back of her head.

Ray looked at me and smiled and I felt my heart melt all over again.

Man the things this boy does to me

I smiled back at him as we walked to the studio. The girls had to go back to the hotel because it was getting late and they had somewhere to be tomorrow. I turned on the music and began to dance and also think.

Why does Prince suddenly care about me so much?

He gaining feelings just leave dat misfit be, he don't deserve another chance just to break you down, Craig

But.....I sorta feel bad for him...

Boii, leave him be, hes not worth the pity..

I guess your right, he did hurt me...

Ray soon joined me and we were having an awesome time. I looked at the time and it was about 8 something so I told Ray and he turned the music off and we left back to our hotel.

"Prod, you okay?" I looked at him and smiled. "Yea, I'm good" I nodded and leaned kinda close. We got to our room and I fell down on top of my bed all tuckered out from dancing. Ray left out of the room to find Walter.

I decided to take a shower and went into the bathroom, closing the door behind me.

Ray

After talking with Walter, I went back to mine and Prod's room. Judging by the running water, hes in the shower. I sit on my bed and my phone is going off like crazy. I see the texts are from Zonnique.

Star: Heyyy c:

Ray: Yes star?

Star: Why won't you go out with me? :c

Ray: Not interested

I put my phone down and I hear knocking at the door. I get up and answer it and Prince at the door. "Need something?"

"Can I talk to Prodigy?" I looked him up and down for a minute. "Prod is kinda busy at the moment" I suddenly hear the shower stop and close the door. I listen to my beats, I look up to see a fully dressed Prodigy talking to Princeton.

 

Prodigy

"What did you want?" I ask him. He looks at me sincerely, "To apologize and to say how I feel" I looked at him and nodded signaling for him to continue.

"Look, I know I was a jerk when you first told me how you felt. I was confused and nervous. I'm sorry I hurt you the way I did. I didn't mean to take it that far."

I look at him for a minute.

Should I forgive him...I mean he is apologizing..

Well.....yea...but be cautious...I still don't trust that misfit. ...

"Fine, I forgive you. Hurt me again and I'm beating your ass, Prince. I mean it." He nods and smiles at me. I look at Ray who is zoned into his laptop.

"Thanks Craig, I won't hurt you again" Prince says as he walks out closing the door behind him. I start dazing out as Ray sits beside me with his laptop and we watch a movie. I can't help but really wonder about Prince.

What is that misfit up to?...
