---Annie's POV---

My ears filled with the sound of my music from my earbuds. I was listening to Cheerleader by OMI when Ben ripped out my earbud. "hey! What was that for?!" He laughs a bit and says "Your music was so basic and gross! Like really? Radio music?" I blush with embarrassment and as, "Could you really hear my music?" "Uhm....yeah. We are in the back seats and could hear it!" Cynthia says from the back seat of van. Cynthia, Mae, Ben and I were on our way to the lake for the week. Luke, Ashton, Michael and Calum are meeting us there.
Ben puts his phone in the aux cord and turns up the volume. Like .2 seconds later we are all jamming out to one of my favorite songs in the world, The Run and Go by Twenty One Pilots.
We reached a stop light and and I looked at Ben, he was already smiling at me. "What are you smiling at?" He smiled even more and said softly, "You". Right before the light turned green I snuck a kiss on his cheek.

---Calum's POV---

We get to the lake a few minutes before the girls and Ben. Ben is nice and all and he's pretty funny but I feel kind of obligated to hate him because of Annie.
When their car pulled up I had some pretty mixed emotions. I knew I was just completely jealous the second Ben and Annie walked towards us with their arms around each other. Luke patted me on the shoulder and whispered "Keep it together man.".

Luke knew Ben the best so him and Ben went in the same room of the cabin and the rest of the boys and I went in another. All the girls stayed in the same room.
It's Sunday and we are here till Friday. That's a long time of having to see Ben and Annie all gross and lovey and crap.
Around 8pm we all went outside to watch the sun set. Luke and Michael sat on the dock and Ashton sat with Cynthia on the shore, definitely flirting. Mae sat at the end of the chairs on the shore talking pictures. I was behind everyone leaning against the cabin. And of course, Ben and Annie were cuddling on a chair. This sounds selfish, but I hate to see her smiling and laughing that much when I'm not the one making her that happy. But I want and absolutely need her to be as happy as possible.
Mae saw me and came back. She leaned against the cabin next to me. "Cute couple, aren't they?" I look down at my feet, "Yeah." She looks at me and says hopefully, "She'll come around." Confused on what she just said, i as, "How do you know?" She hesitates a bit and smiles, "She doesn't talk about him they she talked you. She's happy, but he's not he one that's been there for her in her worst moments." She smiles at me and leaves.
"I miss her." I say under my breath.
