"I believe everything is a test. You know? The world wants to see how we survive different things and situations- and I'm not surviving this one."
Those words Annalise had said, they stuck with me eversince that day.
Its been two weeks and we have hung out most of those days. Any day that we didn't hang out, was because of band practice.
***2 hours later***
I heard a knock on front door.
"GET IT CALUM!" My dad calls to me.
I get up and walk to the door. And standing there is Annie. Shit.
She can't be here. My-my dad. Shit!
I push her out and walk out with her closing the door behind me.
"Hey Annie. This is a really bad time." I quickly said, wanting to get back inside before my dad gets suspicious.
Her smile fades to a concerned frown. "I just thought it was weird that I have never been to your house, i-is something wrong? Do you not want me here?"
The next action isn't my favorite. "NO! I DON'T WANT YOU HEAR! JUST GET AWAY FROM ME!" I snapped.
Tears stream down her face as she runs away.
I walk back into the house, tears brimming my eyes. I fucked up again.
My dad stands tall, in front me. "Who was it?"
"Just a stupid sales guy." I say not making eye contact so he doesn't see my tear filled eyes.
He just walks away. "whatever." he mutters under his breath.
I walk to my room and plop on my crappy bed.
