The days apart had been difficult for both Hana and Riku. Hana
poured her emotions into her art, creating some of her most
powerful pieces yet. Riku, on the other hand, found himself
constantly distracted, his thoughts always drifting back to Hana.
One evening, while working late at the office, Riku received a call
from Hana. Her voice was shaky, and he could tell she had been
crying. "Riku, I need you," she said softly. "My mother is in the
hospital."
Riku's heart sank. "I'll be there as soon as I can," he promised.
He rushed to the hospital, finding Hana in the waiting room, her
eyes red from crying. Without a word, he pulled her into his arms,
holding her tightly. "I'm here, Hana. We'll get through this together."
As they sat together, waiting for news, Riku realized just how
much Hana meant to him. He couldn't imagine his life without her.
He vowed to make more time for their relationship, no matter how
demanding his job became.
When the doctor finally came out with good news about Hana's
mother, they both breathed a sigh of relief. Hana looked up at
Riku, her eyes filled with gratitude. "Thank you for being here,"
she whispered.
"Always," Riku replied, kissing her forehead. "I love you, Hana."
"I love you too, Riku," she said, feeling a renewed sense of hope
and determination.
