No one pov:
Another few days later, after another monster attack on (y/n) and the others. There were technically multiple of them because they came from the biggest worker drone pile. They were weak yet tough, and there were many of them. However, (y/n) and the others had effective weapons against them and took them all down. (y/n) found a strange liquid on one of the zombie drones and took it along with a few body parts for testing. He figured it was some form of microtechnology that made the zombie drones. Right now, he is working on his project after just doing some studying on the liquid. Then V and Cyn came into the room again without knocking.
(y/n): Again?
V: You are fine with no knocking.
(y/n): What happens if I am working on something dangerous and delicate?
V: You probably would tell us that and to either knock or not to disturb you.
(y/n): That's true.
Cyn: Figured anything new?
(y/n): The strange liquid is some sort of form of microtechnology, and it caused those zombie drones to rise up. However, it seems after their second death, what's left of the technology dies with them.
V: At least it can't be used again.
(y/n): Yeah, but whoever created this might have more or could do... something else if they can create this.
While that was happening, a few drones went outside of the colony. It was Thad, Lizzy, and Khan. After what happened recently, they thought of returning to where the corpse tower was for the green stuff for the railguns. They had things like pipes just in case one or more of the corpses were still zombie drones. Soon, they found what they were looking for.
Thad: Okay, I think that it.
Lizzy: Good, I'm getting tired of this work already.
Khan: We are worker drones; we are made to work, and we should all...
Then they heard a noise close to them. They weren't sure what it was, but it came from a shadow near one of the towers. They thought they saw red eyes.
Khan: RUN!
They tried to run, but they weren't fast enough. Whoever this is could fly and land right in front of them. Then, a light flashed, and Khan, Thad, and Lizzy stood still. It was the same monster creator. They took the vial out and poured it into their... mouth? One by one, they... bite into them with this liquid still in their mouth. They left bite marks on the workers. They almost broke out of it from the pain.
???: You all will not remember what I just did. In a minute, you will break out of this trace.
Khan, Thad, Lizzy: Yes.
Then, they left before the others were normal again.
Thad: What just happened?
Lizzy: I don't know, but why do I feel strange and in a little pain?
Khan: Yeah, I feel the same... thing.
They felt something and looked up to see the moon. The moonlight shone on them, and something rose up in them—like a beast. They felt a strange hunger and began to devour the dead worker drone and metal parts around them, unaware of what they were doing. When they were done... they barely resembled their normal selves. And then...
