I was starting to finish up a new project. I had thought about making this for a while and wanted it to be a surprise to everyone. It has taken me weeks to make. I hope that everyone will like this or... him. I did the final touches, and I turned him on.
(y/n): Come on, little guy.
Then, I saw it's light come on.

(y/n): Hey, little guy.
Then, he began to bark a little. Then it got up and ran around me. Then, he stopped while wagging his tail in front of me. I kneeled down to pet him. He let me pet him and seemed happy.
(y/n): Good, boy. Good, boy. What should I name you, though?
I kept trying to figure out a name. Then I got one.
(y/n): How about (p/n)?
He barks happily. I smiled.
(y/n): (p/n) it is then. I should let the others know. I'm sure they would love to see you.
He barks happily again.
Timeskip 1 hour:
Uzi, N, my girlfriends, and family just came. I told (f/n) to stay behind the couch until I call for him. They went into the front room of my home.
Uzi: So, what do you want to show us?
(y/n): One of the reasons I have been busy lately is doing a new kind of project.
(m/n): Knowing, it's always something like that.
(d/n): What's different, though?
(y/n): I made a robot.
They looked surprised.
(b/n): YOU HAVE A KID?!
(y/n): NO! That's not what I meant. I made something else. He is excited to see you all. Come here, (p/n).
Then (p/n) comes out from behind the couch and comes to me while barking. The others looked surprised. I pet him a little.
(y/n): Meet (p/n), the robot dog. I have seen how humans used to have pets, and N loves dogs, so I decided to make my own since there is no biological life here. He is already trained, and I put weapons in him for protection, like a flamethrower and sharp teeth, and I even put two tiny miniguns he can take out at will. There are other attachments I could put on him if needed. What do you think?
They were silent. I pushed (p/n) a little to say hi. He came over to them. N kneeled down, and (f/n) jumped on him and began to lick him. He laughed while saying.
N: He's so cute. HAHA, I love him already.
Uzi: I admit he does look cute.
My family agreed with them.
V: Why didn't you tell me or Cyn? We live here, too.
(y/n): Oh, come on.
I picked up (p/n) and got him close to her face. He began to lick her and gave her puppy eyes that looked similar to normal live dogs. She and Cyn smiled.
V: Oh, okay. He can stay.
Cyn: I won't mind another friend and a little playmate.
(y/n): Welcome to the gang, little (p/n).
Then V's pet came in... the Red Sentinel.

(p/n) came up to it. They stared at each other for a little while before (p/n) licked it. Red licks back and wags its tail. I sighed in relief. I'm glad the others like him already. Having a robot dog that's trained and protective can be very useful and fun to have.
No one pov:
Khan and his coworkers were next to the final door of the colony playing cards. Khan was about to win.
Khan: Haha, I win again, guys.
Coworkers: Ah, come on. Again? I need to get better.
Khan: I'm sure you guys will...
Then, there was a knock from outside. It was weird because nobody had come outside yet.
Khan: That's strange... Let's check it out.
They open the door a little to see what is out there. Before they could figure that out, a flash of light hit their visors. They stood still, and their visors weren't buffering, but rather they looked... hypnotized. They wouldn't move their eyes or body. The light came from a dark figure. Then they spoke.
???: Hear me, workers. You will not remember this, but I have a command for you. Whenever you hear a three-knock pattern on this door, you will be traced again and open that door. You will let whatever it is past all the doors into the colony. After that, you will stay still for three minutes before the trance breaks and have no memory of what happened. Understand?
Khan and coworkers: Yes.
???: Good.
Then another flash came, and the workers were out of the trance. They looked around and saw nothing.
Khan: See anything?
No one did, and they didn't remember what just happened. Whoever that was, their trick worked. They went back to wherever their lair or base was. Then they tried to do a... experiment.
???: Now, it's time for the next phase.
They pull a switch, and electricity comes down on a large metal body that was on a large operating table. After a few seconds, it stops, and the mechanical body rises and yells out a loud mechanical roar.
???: HAHAHAH IT'S ALIVE! I knew this would work.
The large creature comes up to its master.
???: Now my large friend, I have a simple job for you hehe...
It seems as if (y/n) not only gained a new friend, but a new enemy as well.
