Azzi and her teammates were in the gym goofing around and shooting free throws. Practice started twenty minutes ago, but coach Geno seemed to be running behind.
Ice made her shot and since Morgan was rebounding for them, she threw the ball back to Ice. KK was up next, she flicked her wrist and the ball flew out into the air.
KK's ball rolled around the rim before falling off and onto the floor. "Mmm." Ice hummed, side eyeing the girl.
Azzi was up next; she got into position but suddenly the gym doors busted open. Coach Geno rushed in with his notes and water. "Alright girls huddle up!" He voiced from across the court. Everyone stopped what they were doing and traveled over to their coach.
Geno gave a quick rundown of what practice would consist of. The girls had many things to accomplish in their two hour practice. They got into their respective lines and began throwing shots.
"Don't some Canes sound good right now?"
Paige, Azzy, Ice, and Jana all turned their head towards KK. "You always think bout some food." Ice remarked. KK snapped her head towards Ice, "And is, what about it?"
Azzy, Jana, Paige, and Ice bursting out laughing. Their line moved causing them to move up.
"Alright, everybody stop." The short man's voice echoed loudly. The girls stopped and turned their attention onto their coach.
Geno explained that they would be starting one of their drills. The drill consisted of the teams managers and helpers to try and take the ball from the girls as they passed by them.
Geno told them that they were supposed to be able to get past the helpers with their ball still in their possession. Everyone split up into three lines. There was two workers in each line. Jana, Morgan, and Aubrey were the starting three. The whistle screeched, signaling for the girls to begin.
After everyone successfully got through the drill, they started in their mini scrimmage. This drill would have half the girls on the court and the other half on the sidelines.
The team would switch out every ten minutes. The workers are supposed to block their shots and remove the chance of them scoring a basket.
"COME ON! PASS IT PASS IT!" Geno yelled at Ayanna. Yana passed the ball to Kk who was being heavily guarded by one of the helpers. Kk threw the ball to Allie who was able to get away from one of the workers.
Allie put the ball up and let it fly. Coach yelled as the ball swished into the net.

Practice was now over and Azzi, Paige, and Kk were walking out of the locker room. "My arms feel like they're about to fall off." Azzi commented. Kk hummed and drunk her Gatorade. "And I'm tired, but I have to my homework."
"Ooouu, that just reminded me that I have to do mine!" Paige blurted out, munching on some gummy worms. The basketball players made their way out of the Gampel Pavilion and into Paige's car. The drive to their apartments wasn't very far at all, so they didn't bother to buckle in or anything.
Once the girls showered and changed their clothes, they were going to the movies to see the new Speak No Evil movie. Azzi got a message from Aubrey say to wait for them, so that's what they did.
The girls were walking into the movies, looking around at the Halloween decorations. They migrated over towards the self buying stands. Everyone got their tickets and went to the snack line. "I have to go to the bathroom real quick." Azzi mumbled out towards Kk.
Kk nodded before turning back around. Sarah mentioned that she had to go to, so they left the line. As Azzi was entering the bathroom, she stumbled into someone. "Oh! I'm sorry!" she apologized. The person looked up causing Azzi to let out a breathy laugh.
"Again!"
Azzi gave Navia a quick up-down look, taking in her comfy but cute outfit. "I don't know how this keeps happening!" Fudd noted. "No for real." Navia, smiled, moving to the side, so the random woman could walk by.
"What movie are you guys seeing?" Azzi asked; her urge to use the bathroom was no longer there. She seemed to be enchanted about the girl infront of her.
Navia played with the ringer on her pointer finger, "We just saw the new Blink Twice movie." Azzi nodded, "Was it good?" Navia nodded and gushed out a grin, "Yea, it was actually pretty good. I give it an eight out of ten. What are you guys seeing?"
"We gonna watch Blink Twice." Navia's arms folded over her chest, "Oh ok, let me know how it goes. I know you probably have to go to the bathroom so I don't wanna take up anymore of your time. Bye Azzi!"
Azzi ginned, "Bye!" She walked into the bathroom seeing Sarah washing her hands. "Ready?" Sarah asked, grabbing some paper towels. Azzi's sudden urge to pee came back, so she shook her head. "No, I still gotta pee."
Sarah gave Azzi a playful irritated look and moved to the side, pulling out her phone. Azzi stepped into a stall and did her business.
The two girls descended out of the bathroom and into the open movie theater. They spotted their group, seeing as how some of them were already ordering. They jumped back in line and waited for their turn.
Aubrey walked over to the butter machine. Azzi was currently pouring butter all over Ayanna's popcorn because Yana we t back into the line to buy some candy. "I'M SO READY TO SEE THE MOVIE AZ!"
Azzy chuckled at Aubrey's giddy emotion. "Yea, me to. I've been seeing all the trailers and stuff for it." Azzy waited until Aubrey was done before they walked towards the other girls who were waiting at the end of the hallway.
Once everybody was accounted for the group entered the movie room. It was only a few other people in the room, considering that it was almost eight o'clock.

"Yea, it was good." Ice confirmed to the rest of the girls. "Now, see I ain't like it that much. The storyline just wasn't storylining you know."
Azzi glanced at Aubrey and sling her arm around her shoulder. She knows how excited the girl was to see the movie just for her to not like it that much was kinda sad.
Both Ashlynn and Kaitlyn agreed, "It was okay, I give it a seven out of ten." The curly headed country lover voiced.
The UCONN women's basketball team exited the movie theaters with a tired look on their faces. "Ugh, I'm so ready to lay downnnnnn." Kk groaned.
The team split up into cars, driving back to their school assigned apartments. As the cars parked and turned off, the group of girls got out the car.
Everyone wished each other a goodnight and ventured to their respective rooms for the night.
