Wayo's POV

It's never easy pretending you're not thinking about something, especially when it's the only thing on your mind. For the entire photoshoot, I've been forcing myself to act like I don't care or notice him at all. It's ridiculous, honestly. But what can I do when every time I glance over, I'm greeted by the sight of that tall jerk, P'Pha, lounging in the corner with his phone?

The worst part? I can't stop thinking about lunch. About the Pink Milk he bought me. My cheeks are still red from it, and Ming has been teasing me non-stop.

"Look how happy you are," Ming snickers, bumping me with his shoulder. "He only bought you Pink Milk. What if he confesses his feelings? How would you react then?"

I groan, covering my face with my hands. "Shut up, Ming. You're enjoying this way too much."

"Oh, you know I am." He grins, and I can't help but glare at him, though my heart is racing a little at the thought of P'Pha confessing... as if that would ever happen.

We're still waiting for the set to be ready, and I catch another glance of P'Pha. Why does he have to look so good? It's like he's glowing, while I'm here, hiding behind Ming for the umpteenth time.

"What are you doing, Ai'Yo?" Ming turns to me with a smirk.

"Using your height," I mutter, trying to peek around him without getting caught.

Ming rolls his eyes. "Why don't you just stare at him like everyone else? Look at those girls they're not even trying to hide it." He points to a group of girls who are practically swooning over P'Pha.

I scoff. "He wasn't this hot in high school."

"Well, it was an all-boys school. Screaming like that would've been weird." Ming smirks. "Besides, high school was a dark era for both of you."

I wince. "Yeah, but P'Pha never looked like a total disaster, unlike me." Back then, I was all braces, pimples, and glasses no wonder he never noticed me.

Ming snorts. "Good thing you know you were ugly."

"A.s.shole," I mutter under my breath, but my comeback is interrupted by one of the staff walking over with a tray of drinks.

"Here you go, boys. Take one." She hands us some colorful drinks. "P'Pha bought these for everyone! Such a kind and handsome prince, isn't he?"

Ming and I exchange looks. I grab another Pink Milk, while Ming picks a red one. I glance around and notice that most of the girls have Pink Milk, too. My stomach sinks.

Phana Kongthanin, you a.s.shole. My pink world suddenly turns gray, tinted with boiling red.

He's flirting with everyone. I was stupid to think the drink meant anything. Flirting must be his hobby or something. Or maybe... it was all in my head. Maybe I was the one overthinking.
