Chapter 2 : Unexpected Things

[ In the Alley ]

Dev: "A boy without powers cannot be my brother."
Dev keeps staring at Aarav, and Aarav asks him, "What are you doing? He's a very dangerous thief."
Dev slowly stands up and lets go of the thief's collar, saying, "This is a thief; that's why I'm teaching him a lesson. He threatened that old lady in her shop and was running away with her hard-earned money. What did he think, that he could escape so easily?"

[5 minutes ago]

The thief was walking calmly while counting money, and Dev and his friends were coming from the front, chatting. As they approached each other, the thief said, "Today, I've made a good profit from that old lady's shop."

Dev overheard this and stopped to say, "Hey!"
The thief turned around and said, "Huh, what do you want...?"
At that moment, Dev punched him in the face and said, "Where do you think you're going so easily?"

[Present]

Dev looked at the thief and said, "He has to pay the price for what he did. It's because of people like him that no one can live in peace in this world. Such people should be dealt with as soon as they get the chance."

Yash said, "Dev, your brother has seen us. What should we do now? Should we leave from here?"
Dev looked at Aarav and said, "Yash, will you do me a favor?"
Dev continued, "Send him to a place with your power where he can't return alive."

Aarav was shocked and scared, "What are you saying?"
Yash replied, "Dev, what are you saying? I can't do this. What if someone finds out..."
Dev said, "If he never meets anyone, then who will know that we made him disappear? No one saw him with us here."
Yash said, "But still..."
Dev looked directly into Yash's eyes. Yash could see a lot of anger in Dev's eyes. Dev said, "If you don't do it, it won't be good for you."

Yash gets scared of Dev and agrees. He raises one hand and points it toward Aarav, then concentrates on his power.
Aarav asks Dev, "Why are you doing this? I am your brother."
Dev replies, "A powerless person has no right to live, even if he is my brother. And yes, I do not consider you my brother and never will."

Yash opens a portal directly beneath Aarav, and Aarav falls into it. The coffee can and other items in his hands leap into the air. As Aarav falls into the portal, it disappears, and the items fall back to the ground.

Dev lifts the items and says, "Let's get out of here," and while moving forward, he crushes the coffee can with his foot.

[ An unknown place /  4 : 56 PM ]

A portal opens in the sky, and Aarav falls straight down through it. There was snow below, so he didn't get hurt much. Slowly, he stands up and looks around. Aarav says to himself, "Where am I?"

He was in a place where there was nothing but snow, as far as the eye could see. A snowstorm was also raging around him. Aarav tries to cover himself with his hands, shivering in the freezing winds, and says, "It's so cold here... "Brr!" I need to find a village or house quickly.'

He moves forward, but..."

[ after 3 hours ]

he found nothing." Aarav gets tired and kneels down, feeling very cold. His breaths turn into 'Huh... huh...' as he says, 'I can't go on anymore.'"

Snow and strong winds were falling, and the storm was not subsiding. Aarav thought, 'Maybe I should stop somewhere and wait for the storm to calm down.' He lifted his head and looked ahead; there were mountains. Trembling, he stood up and took a step forward, saying, 'I need to go there.'

[ At Home ]

Dev was playing a game in his room and he lost the game level, and then came to the kitchen. He said, 'Mom, what are you making?' He was taking juice from the fridge. Mom replied, 'Today, butter chicken is being made.' Dev closed the fridge and was about to leave when mom said, 'By the way, do you know where Aarav has gone?' Dev had already left the kitchen and replied, 'I don't know, mom.' The clock changed from 9:19 to 9:20.
