Chapter 8 : The Final Stand ( Fight With The Leader)

Aarav and Ishaan, after breaking through the ceiling with Tony, stand up and see that Tony has lost. They both feel a bit relieved. Aarav turns around and is shocked, saying, "Everyone, what's happening here?"

All the workers were lying on the ground and were badly injured. The manager had fainted; only the girl was still standing. The boss was calmly watching them. He looked at Tony and said, "So, Tony lost." Aarav and Ishaan approached the girl and asked her what was happening. Just then, the girl started to fall, and Aarav caught her with his hands and gently laid her down. Ishaan looked at everyone and then at the boss, saying, "Oye oye, he single-handedly defeated everyone; he is no ordinary person." Aarav looked at the girl—she was very exhausted and appeared to be very weak. He said to Ishaan, "He did this to all of them; he will have to pay for it."

He lets the girl rest and stands up with his stick. Ishaan also turns his hands into metal, and they both get ready to fight him. The leader sits in the chair and stares at both of them. He said, "So, you are also a special awakened one. Now I understand how you defeated Tony. Well, no matter; he made my job easier by injuring you." Aarav replies, "What do you think? Just because we are injured, we won't be able to defeat you?"

Aarav and Ishaan rush to attack him. The leader said, "You will defeat me?" Aarav tries to hit him in the face with his stick, while Ishaan attempts to punch him. However, the leader falls back with his chair, dodging both of their attacks. He said, "You don't stand a chance." The leader places his hands on the ground and kicks both of them in the face. He then backflips to gain distance. Aarav and Ishaan both feel pain, but they have no choice but to keep fighting.

Ishaan gets angry and makes a quick jump, trying to punch the gang leader again. The leader moves to the side, grabs his hand, and throws him up into the ceiling. Ishaan hits the ceiling and starts falling down when the gang leader reaches him. Ishaan tries to move his hand to punch again, but the leader dodges it, kicks him, and throws him toward Aarav. Aarav catches Ishaan, but both slide backward. Aarav asks Ishaan if he's okay. Ishaan says, "Yes, I'm fine, but his speed and power are on a very high level." Ishaan stands up again and tells Aarav, "Be careful of his punches and kicks. If they hit you, you won't be able to stand up again."

They were talking when the leader suddenly comes up behind them and tries to punch, but he misses, and his punch shatters the floor into pieces. Aarav and Ishaan jump and dodge him.

They both move forward to attack him again. Ishaan tries to punch him, but he slips. Aarav aims his stick at the gang leader's leg and tries to hit, but the leader dodges by jumping. While the leader is in the air, Ishaan comes from behind and grabs him with his hands, holding him to smash him down onto the ground. They are both falling, and while they're in the air, the leader says, "Is this all you can do?" Ishaan doesn't understand, and before he realizes, the leader transforms his hand's nails into sharp whips that slice straight through Ishaan's stomach. Aarav is shocked seeing this. Ishaan's grip loosens. The leader retracts his slashing nails, and as Ishaan falls, the leader catches him with his whips and kicks him in the stomach, making both of them crash to the ground.

The room was filled with smoke, and nothing was visible. Aarav goes to Ishaan, who was lying on the ground and bleeding heavily, with cuts all over his body. Ishaan stirs a little, and Aarav takes a step forward towards him. Just then, the leader emerges from the smoke and delivers a powerful energy punch to Aarav's stomach. Aarav takes the impact of the punch and crashes into the wall, sticking to it, and then he also falls to the ground.

The leader says, "I thought you guys would at least try to hit me, but I didn't even get a chance to show my power. If I'm not wrong, you three are applicants for the power school, right? it's ridiculous, Such weak kids are called the upcoming guardians. Out of the three of you, only that girl has the potential to make it to that school, but maybe it's just not in her destiny."

The leader moves forward and lifts Aarav's face with his foot. He says, "Do you know what I'm going to do now? I will bring down this entire building. All these people will be crushed here, but there will be no one to save them now. So why don't you watch them die with your own eyes?"

He picks up the card lying next to Aarav and walks away, laughing.

Aarav starts crying after seeing this. Ishaan, that girl, and everyone else were about to die right in front of him, and he couldn't do anything. He says, "Everyone is going to die before my eyes, and I can't do anything. Why am I so weak? Why was I the only one born this way?"

Just then, he remembers something his mom once said when he was making notes for his exercise schedule in his room. His mom came into the room and placed some fried rice on his table, noticing the notes he had made listing his exercises—running, pushups, squats, and others. She asked him, "Are you training?" Aarav replied, "Yeah, I need to make my body strong for the upcoming fights, right?"

Then he asked his mom, "How does Dev train? He's always so strong and fit." His mom thought for a moment, remembering Dev's intense training—how he lifted heavy weights, knocked down trees, and meditated underwater. She told Aarav, "His training is a bit too tough."

Aarav then said, "If I can get stronger through tough training, I'll be able to help so many people. I want to save others and see a smile on their faces." His mom smiled and, while leaving, said, "If someone is hurt or in need of help, whether you're strong or not, make sure to help them. Remember, a helping hand is always a sign of hope."

Those memories flash before him. The gang leader had found the card and was heading towards the hole in the ceiling to go up. Just then, someone called out, "Hey!" The gang leader turned around, and Aarav was standing on his feet. He said, "I'm still standing, which means I haven't lost yet."

The leader smirked and said, "I thought I left you lying in the dirt, watching your friends die." Aarav picked up his stick and said, "I'm still on my feet, and this fight isn't over yet."

He spun his stick and got into a fighting stance, shouting loudly, "Where do you think you're goinnngggg!"

The leader gets furious, and this time, he had decided that he would kill Aarav. Aarav charges forward to attack him, and the leader moves ahead too. Both their punches collide, hitting each other's hands, and shock waves erupt. Aarav's hand was hurting, while the leader was in shock, wondering how Aarav managed to block his power punch with just a normal punch. Aarav screams, and his punch surpasses the leader's punch, landing directly on the leader's chest, causing him to fall back.

The leader regains consciousness, and suddenly Aarav's stick falls beside him. The leader is confused about where Aarav is getting so much power from. He moves forward and tries to kick Aarav, but Aarav catches the kick with his hands and flies backward into the air. The leader tries to punch him from every angle, and Aarav takes all the punches. The leader then aims a punch directly at Aarav's chest, but Aarav jumps back to dodge it. The leader increases his speed and tries to kick Aarav again. This time, the kick hits, and Aarav crashes into the wall. As the leader approaches to punch him, Aarav pushes off the wall with his feet, takes a quick jump forward, and kicks the leader in the back, knocking him to the ground.

The leader stands up and says, "Enough playing around," then he turns his nails into whips again. He tries to hit Aarav from a distance with his whips, but suddenly Ishaan steps in. Ishaan turns his hands into iron, grabs the whips, and pulls them. The leader quickly rushes towards them, but Ishaan throws a powerful punch, sending the leader flying, leaving him in bad shape.

Ishaan notices Aarav and wonders how he's still standing after taking such powerful punches and kicks. Aarav looked normal, but his body had enhanced—his speed and power punch levels had significantly increased. Aarav, seeing Ishaan, feels happy, but the leader gets furious and this time channels all his energy into his body and whips.

Ishaan looks at Aarav and says, "Ready?" Aarav steps up beside him and replies, "I'm always ready."
