The whispers of doubt continued to plague Alice, a constant undercurrent of fear that threatened to derail their blossoming love. Risa stood up, her eyes meeting Alice's with a newfound intensity. "Then I'll choose to stay," she said, her voice unwavering. "I'll choose to love you, even if it hurts. Because I love you, Alice. And I'm not going to let fear dictate my life."

Alice looked at Risa, her heart pounding with a mixture of hope and fear. She had never been loved so fiercely, so unconditionally.

"I don't know what to say," Alice whispered, her voice barely audible.

Risa smiled, a gentle, reassuring smile. "You don't have to say anything," she said. "Just let me love you. Let me be here for you. Let me show you that love doesn't have to be painful."
